Abstract
PURPOSE: To conduct air conditioning throughout a year while controlling a capacity of a compressor by driving to open a sub-valve against a sub-valve spring via an operating lever at a pressure responsive member provided in a pressure chamber communicating with a temperature sensitive cylinder, thereby circulating refrigerant by opening the sub-valve even if a main valve is closed at the time of low load. CONSTITUTION: A formula of [an elastic force of main valve spring 24] > [an elastic force of sub-valve spring 331 is satisfied. When the valve 21 is closed, the elastic force of the spring 24 is received by a valve seat 20. An operating lever 32 is first driven to open a sub-valve 31 against the spring 33 via a diaphragm by a pressure from a temperature sensitive cylinder in the state that superheat degree is generated at the time of operating a refrigerator. Further, the sub-valve 31 is collided with a step 22b so that the spring 21 is driven to be opened against the spring 24. In the state that an evaporating pressure is '0' at 0 deg.C at the time of low load in winter or the like, the valve 31 is opened regardless of the presence or absence of superheat of the refrigerator, a small amount of refrigerant flows via a flow passage P. When the refrigerator is stopped and refrigerant pressure is raised corresponding to 5 deg.C, the valve 31 is closed to completely shut off a flow of the refrigerant.
