Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify an overall refrigerator by providing a unit for sprinkling water on a heat transfer surface of an absorber to cool the absorber by a vaporization heat of water, thereby eliminating a necessity of using fluorocarbon containing chlorine as an operating medium. CONSTITUTION: A lithium bromide aqueous solution, for example, in a generator 14 is, for example, heated by a combustion energy of a gas, kerosene or the like via a piping L2, a water of a refrigerant is evaporated to generate a steam. A concentrated lithium bromide aqueous solution heats lithium bromide aqueous solution (dilute solution) fed from an absorber 12 by a heat exchanger 20.
