Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent blow-by of fuel from an exhaust port by setting the fuel injection timing to at least opening timing of an exhaust port to promote evaporation atomization, and setting the injection direction to the direction of flowing fresh air by a scavenging port. CONSTITUTION:A two-cycle engine 12 includes an exhaust port 23, upper and lower scavenging ports 24A, 24B communicating a combustion chamber 18 with a crank chamber and a subsidiary scavenging port 24C for every cylinder. The subsidiary scavenging port 24C is disposed on the opposite side to the exhaust port 23, and the main scavenging ports 24A, 24B are disposed symmetrically about a connecting line connecting the exhaust port 23 and the subsidiary scavenging port 23C. A fuel injection nozzle 25 is provided facing to the combustion chamber 18, and the injection timing is set to the opening timing of the exhaust port 23 and the injection direction is set along the scavenging direction of the main scavenging port 24A, that is, the opposite direction to the exhaust port 23.
