Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize lowly electrifiable property and enhance heat resistance and the like by a method wherein an electrically conductive metal oxide particle layer bonded with aromatic polyimide is laminated onto a self-supporting aromatic polyimide film, which does not contain electrically conductive metal oxide particles. CONSTITUTION:A self-supporting laminate is obtained by applying electrically conductive metal oxide particle-containing aromatic polyimide solution or aromatic polyamic acid solution onto at least one side of a self-supporting film consisting of aromatic polyimide or of its precursor of aromatic polyamic acid containing 10wt.% or more of organic solvent. Next, an electrically conductive metal oxide particle-containing aromatic polyimide resin layer is formed at least on one side of the aromatic polyimide film by heating said self-supporting laminate. As the electrically conductive metal oxide, indium oxide, tin oxide, titanium oxide, antimony oxide and the like are exampled.
