Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform effective waste gas treatment by stripping films of microorganisms formed on the surface of carrier in a treating tower by spraying intermittently stripping water into the treating tower wherein the carrier deposited with microorganisms is contained, introducing then org. waste gas into the treating tower. CONSTITUTION:Org. waste gas is fed to a treating tower 1 with a fan F, and a fan F, and allowed to contact to contact with a group of carrier 4 having voids continuously connecting in vertical direction, having also films of microorganisms consisting primarily of molds on the surface. Thus, an org. solvent is captured by the microorganism film and decomposed, and purified gas is discharged from a discharging port 3.
