Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute stranding which does not cause unfastening or twist return of an element wire by installing a pre-form device comprised of plural pre-form roll retainers capable of fixing after shifting in the longitudinal direction and circumferential direction of a strand. CONSTITUTION:Element wires collected in a collecting plate 1 as a circular element strand 11 is formed into a deformed element wire 12 by a formation roll 2 installed at a the plate 1 and supplied to a pre-form device 3. This device 3 has plural pre-form roll retainers 3a, 3b and 3c and engaged with an axis 5 and can be moved in the longitudinal direction and circumferential direction of a stranded optical fiber complex overhead ground-wire (OPGW) and fixed after shifting by required amount. And at the periphery of the devices 3a, 3b and 3c are arranged pre-form rolls 4, 4 at equal intervals according to the number of element wires 12, 12 to be stranded and the element wires 12, 12 formed by rolls 4, 4 are given a pre-form in accordance with the twisting of the element wires.
