Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect a mode at the same phaseal position of a cam irrespective of the rotary direction of the cam by rotating a mobile brush member by the idling angle for a rotary body by delaying for the rotation starting and allowing this idling angle corresponding to the rotary angle of the cam necessary for each mode detection. CONSTITUTION:A rotary member 3 and mobile brush member 4 are engaged with by providing the idling that the mobile brush member 4 is rotated by being late for the rotation of the rotary member 3, in those which detect a mode with the mobile brush member 4 being rotated by the rotation of a cam 2 and a brush 41 being selectively brought into contact with a fixed contact 51. At the positive rotation time of the cam 2 the brush 41 is rotated by being slightly late for the rotation of the cam 2 or reversely thereto the brush 41 is rotated by being slightly late for the rotation of the cam 2 at its reversing time. At the time when the slide moving member 1 driven by the cam 2 reaches the position corresponding to a specific mode the phase of the cam 2 is made coincident irrespective of the rotary direction of the cam 2 and the mode is thus detected.
