Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the rectilinear shift characteristic of a spool for the applied electric current by fitting and fixing an adjusting ring made of the ferromagnetic material having a low permeability onto the outer periphery of one edge part of a spool. CONSTITUTION:A valve sleeve 11 and a yoke 14 which are made of ferromagnetic material are integrally jointed through a spacer ring 13 made of nonferromagnetic material. A spool 30 for controlling the opening degree of a valve mechanism 35 is fitted into an inner hole 10a in the vicinity of the boundary of the spacer ring 13 and the yoke 14. An adjusting ring 32 made of the ferromagnetic material having a low permeability is fitted and fixed onto the outer periphery of one edge part of the spool 30. The reduction of the attractive force of the spool 30 per applied electric current which is generated according to the increase of each overlap quantity of the spool 30 and the yoke 14 is compensated by the reduction of the magnetic path resistance passing through the adjusting ring 32.
