Abstract
PURPOSE: To completely eliminate error detection due to a noise input, by conducting sequential detection wherein only echoes are detected sequentially at every Δt on the occasion of reception processing.
CONSTITUTION: An inputted reception signal 401 is separated into frequency bands of fD1WfD7 by frequency analyzer circuit 501W507 and detected by amplitude detector circuits 511W517. Amplitude output detector circuits 551W557 determines whether amplitude detection outputs 541W547 reach a detection level, and inputs detected echoes 561...567 to a sequential detector circuit 570. Only when the detected echoes are outputted in the sequence of 561, 563,...567 in the detection sequence of 1W7, the circuit 570 outputs a sequential detection signal 571 to a target detector circuit 530. The circuit 530 outputs an echo detection signal 531 only when the signal 571 is inputted thereto and when a delay addition output 521 exceeds the detection level. By this constitution, error detection due to a noise input is eliminated completely.
