CONSTITUTION:When waste heat of an engine E is fully recovered, an engine cooling radiator device 6 is set to the radiation stopping condition. When a three-way valve 41 is changed over to a heat recovering circulation path 3, heat medium liquid in a water jacket 5 circulates through an exhaust heat absorber 2 heat recovering radiator 4 pump P so that heat of an engine body and exhaust is efficiently recovered by heat medium liquid 104. When the waste heat recovery is stopped to the contrary, the three-way valve 41 is changed over to an engine cooling circulation path 40. When the radiator device 6 is set to the radiating condition, the heat medium liquid is cooled by said device 6 so that the engine is not overheated. Since the exhaust heat recovering device 2, heat recovering radiator 4 and connecting piping can be compactly disposed in a space between the engine E and the radiating device 6, heat loss of circulation path and resistance of pipe line can be restrained small to improve waste heat recovering rate.
