Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the diameter of a pin and to reduce the size of a whole, by a method wherein a support shaft for a roller adapted to separate a seat ring from a valve body sheet surface is brought into a state to support both ends. CONSTITUTION:A ball valve comprises a spherical rotary valve body 1 and seat rings 2, and s pair of the seat rings 2 are energized and moved to the valve seat surface 1A side through the force of springs 5 situated between the a valve box 3 and the seat rings. Cam members 8 are placed to the upper and the lower part of the rotary valve body 1, and are brought into contact with a pair of upper and lower rollers 7, pivotally supported to the end parts of the seat rings 2, to press them, the seat ring 2 being separated away from the valve body seat surface 1A. Each roller 7 is rotatably engaged outwardly of a pin 10 engaged with both the seat ring 2 and a holding member 9 and held in a pull-off preventing state.
