Abstract

PURPOSE:To set up characteristics from disturbance to type I and characteristics from an objective input to type III without executing speed feedback based upon an electronic tachometer by combining an integrating means with a low pass filter. CONSTITUTION:A position error detecting means 2 forms a position error signal indicating a difference between an objective track position and a current position of a magnetic head 1 from a reproduced signal and sends the signal to the integrating means 3 and the 1st and 2nd gain means 4, 5. The integrating means 3 integrates the signal and sends the integrated signal to the 3rd gain 6, the 1st gain 4 multiplies the signal by a constant and sends the multiplied signal to the 1st adding means 7 and the 2nd gain 5 multiplies the signal by a constant and sends the multiplied signal to the 2nd adding means 9. The 3rd gain multiplies the output of the means 3 by a constant and the 1st adding means 7 adds the output of the 1st gain 4 to the output of the 3rd gain 6 and sends the added value to a low pass filter 8. The 2nd adding means 9 adds the output of the 2nd gain 5 to the output of a low pass filter 8 and sends its output to an amplifier 10. Consequently, characteristics from disturbance and that from the objective input are respectively set up to types I, III.
