Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain heat radiation reflecting glass of which reflected light from the outside of window (glass substrate side) assumes golden color and reflected light from the side formed films does neutral, having low reflectance of <=20%, by successively laminating nitride-, oxide-, metal- and oxide-layer from the substrate side on the glass substrate. CONSTITUTION:The nitride layer of Ti, Zr, etc., oxide layer of Ti, Sn, etc., metal layer of Ti, Cr, etc., and oxide layer are successively laminated from the substrate side on the glass substrate to obtain the heat radiation reflecting glass. The heat radiation reflecting glass has vivid golden reflected light from the outside of room and, on the other hand, neutral reflected light from the inside of room, that is, from the surface formed the layer and besides, shows low reflectance of <=20%. Therefore, when the glass is used as window glass in a building, appearance of the building is golden and shows good decorative design. On the other hand, snug building windows can be formed, because reflectance of the inside of room is low and the color of reflected light is neutral.
