CONSTITUTION:In a power supply system for transmitting DC power from a power chamber E to a power distribution chamber D without power interruption, a changeover switch 15 is provided in the chamber E, and the AC power is supplied to an AC/DC converter 5 in the chamber D when a commercial power supply 1 is normal. A plurality of AC generators 3A, 3B and AC/DC converters 14A, 14B for converting the outputs of the generators are mounted in the chamber E. When a power interruption detection/changeover switch controller 13 detects the power interruption of the power supply 1, the switch 15 is switched, and the AC outputs of the generators 3A, 3B are converted to DC powers, which are supplied through the same power transmission line to the converter 5 of the chamber D.
