Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the temperature of bearing section, by providing an end bracket with two kinds of ventilating windows for sucking and discharging air. CONSTITUTION:A bobbin 2, around which the winding of a stator is wound, is molded integrally by a rosin constituting a housing 3 to constitute the stator. A rotor core 4 is fixed to a shaft 6, supported rotatably by ball bearings 7 held by end brackets 9. The end bracket 9 is provided with an inflated part 10, projected axially, and the ball bearing 7 is equipped in the inner periphery of the inflated part 10 while a rubber vibration insulator 11 is equipped on the outer periphery of the inflated part 10. The inflated part 10 is provided with a ventilating window 12 for sucking air on the top surface thereof and a ventilating window 13 for discharging air at a position communicating with a space 14 provided between a housing 3 and the rubber vibration insulator 11. Cool air, sucked through the ventilating window 12, cools the inside of a motor and is discharged through the ventilating window 13. The ball bearing 7 is provided at the inside of the inflated part 10, therefore, hot air does not hit it.

Conventional Technology In recent years, emphasis has been placed on reducing noise as well as thinning and lightweighting. For this purpose, more efficient fans have been developed, and the rotational speed of electric motors has become lower. Motor characteristics have become high-slip, the current flowing through the rotor of induction motors has also increased, and the amount of heat generated by the rotor, which is in contact with steel, has also increased.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the above configuration, the rotor integral part 5
The current flowing through the shaft 6 generates heat, which is transmitted through the shaft 6 and causes a temperature rise in the bearing section.

-Generally, electric motors in which the entire stator is integrally molded with resin have a structure that makes it difficult for the heat trapped inside the motor to dissipate to the outside of the motor. Therefore, the temperature of the bearing portion also tends to rise.
