ある。[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a reinforced thermoplastic polyester resin composition that has a high crystallization rate and provides molded articles with excellent impact resistance and humidity resistance. [Problems to be solved by conventional technology/invention] Conventionally,
Polyethylene terephthalate has excellent mechanical and chemical properties, so it is widely used in fibers, films, molding materials, etc. However, polyethylene terephthalate has a relatively slow crystallization rate compared to polybutylene terephthalate, which is a polyester-based material, and when injection molding is performed as a molding material, a mold temperature of 140°C or higher is required. . Furthermore, polyethylene terephthalate has relatively low impact resistance, and improvement thereof is desired. Methods of using various crystallization promoters are known as methods for improving such drawbacks. For example, Japanese Patent Publications No. 4G-4097 and No. 48-4098 propose the addition of an organic acid metal salt, and Japanese Patent Publication No. 47059-1987 proposes the addition of a plasticizer and an ionomer. However, although these methods cannot lower the mold temperature to a practical level during injection molding, they do not improve impact resistance. On the other hand, a method has also been proposed in which soft segments are copolymerized to increase the crystallization rate and at the same time improve impact resistance. For example, the Journal of Polymer Science, Vol. 8, p. 1 (1952) describes polyethylene glycol.
A method of copolymerizing ,) and
No. 00 and Japanese Patent Application No. 81-130578 disclose a method of copolymerizing a polymer obtained by adding alkylene oxide to polyalkylene glycol or a bisphenol type compound. However, when a soft segment, especially one copolymerized with polyalkylene glycol, is used, the moisture resistance of the molded article decreases. Molded articles made from glass fiber-reinforced compositions exhibit a significant decrease in mechanical strength, particularly due to moisture absorption, and improvements in this are desired. A method using an epoxy compound has been proposed as a method for improving moisture resistance as described above, but the use of an epoxy compound slows down the crystallization rate, so it does not mean that any epoxy compound can be used. Furthermore, even if moisture resistance is improved, there is often a problem that other properties are not sufficiently improved, and it is difficult to obtain a resin composition that has a good balance of various properties. An object of the present invention is to provide a reinforced polyethylene terephthalate resin composition that provides a molded article with an excellent balance of mechanical strength, impact resistance, moisture resistance, processability, etc.

昭和61年11月20日The present invention has been made to achieve the above object, and includes (A) 100 parts (parts by weight) of a component consisting of 5 to 90% (by weight, the same applies hereinafter) of a polyether compound and 10 to 95% of polyethylene terephthalate. , hereinafter the same), (B) 10 to 150 parts of glass fiber and (C) α-olefin and a,
Regarding a resin composition containing 5 to 100 parts of a copolymer consisting of a glycidyl ester of β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, the composition has the desired mechanical strength, impact resistance, moisture resistance, and processability. This has the remarkable effect of using a reinforced polyethylene terephthalate resin composition that gives molded products with excellent balance. [Example] The polyethylene terephthalate in the present invention includes at least 90 mol% of terephthalic acid or its ester-forming derivative as the acid component, and at least 90 mol% of ethylene glycol or its ester-forming derivative as the glycol component. Refers to something that can be obtained by using As acid components other than terephthalic acid used in less than 10 mol%, other aromatic dicarboxylic acids having 6 to 14 carbon atoms, aliphatic dicarboxylic acids having 4 to 8 carbon atoms, or alicyclic dicarboxylic acids having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, etc. Specific examples thereof include phthalic acid, isophthalic acid, 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, 4,4°-diphenyldicarboxylic acid, azide, binic acid, sebacic acid, and cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid. In addition, as diol components other than ethylene glycol used in less than 10 mol%, aliphatic diols having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, alicyclic diols having 6 to 15 carbon atoms, or alicyclic diols having 6 to 15 carbon atoms
-15 aromatic diols, specific examples of which include propane-i,a-diol, butane-1,4-diol, pentane-1,5-diol, hexane-1,8-diol, Cyclohexane-1,4-
Examples include dimethatol, 2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diol, 2,2-bis(4'-hydroxycyclohexyl)propane, 2,2-bis(4'-hydroxyphenyl)propane, and hydroquinone. The polyether compound in the present invention has the general formula (It)
: +R20η-(I) (wherein, R2 represents a divalent group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, and 2
The R2s do not need to be the same; g represents an integer from 5 to 40). The terminals of the polyether compound are usually hydroxyl groups at both ends, but are not limited to this, and any terminal may be used as long as it copolymerizes with the polyethylene terethalate component. Specific examples of the above polyether compounds include R
Examples include polyether compounds consisting of one or more of ethylene, propylene, isopropylene, butylene, bisphenol A residues, etc., particularly polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, polytetramethylene glycol, and the general formula (I ): (wherein, R
IC2 to C4 divalent hydrocarbon group, X represents a divalent bonding group such as -C-, -C112-, -8-, -802-11h -C〇- or a direct bond,
(s+n) R1s do not have to be the same; (■ and n each represent an integer from 5 to 20) A polyether compound consisting of one or more types of polyethers in which the main part is 6. It is preferable from the viewpoint of improving crystallization rate and impact resistance. The polyether compound is contained in an amount of 5 to 90 parts, preferably U-80 parts, and particularly preferably 25 to 50 parts in 100 parts of component (A) consisting of the polyether compound and polyethylene terephthalate. If the internuclear content is less than 5 parts, no effect of improving the crystallization rate can be expected, and if it exceeds 90 parts, the mechanical strength, moisture resistance, etc. of the molded product will be significantly reduced, which is not preferable. A component consisting of polyethylene terephthalate and a polyether compound in the present invention (hereinafter referred to as component (A))
usually has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.35 to 1.20 (phenol/
Tetrachloroethane-50150 (weight ratio), 0.5%
concentration, measured at 25°C). It is preferable that the intrinsic viscosity of the hardening material 1-, which improves the crystallization rate and mechanical strength in a well-balanced manner, is from 0.40 to 1.00, particularly preferably from 0.50 to 0.80. In addition, component (A) consisting of polyethylene terephthalate and a polyether compound may be produced by block copolymerization in a polyethylene terephthalate synthesis reaction vessel, or may be produced by reaction using an extruder. It may also be produced by copolymerization using the method described above. The glass fiber used in the present invention usually has a diameter of 1 to 20 A1.
111. The length is about 0.05 to 50 cities. The glass fiber may be treated with a coupling agent,
Although a binder may be used, from the viewpoint of improving the impact resistance, moisture resistance, etc., which are the effects of the present invention, the coupling agent may be γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, γ-glycidoxysilane, etc. Preferably, an alkoxysilane compound such as probytrimethoxysilane is used, and an epoxy resin, urethane resin, or the like is used as a binder. The amount of glass fiber used is 10 parts per 100 parts of component (A).
~150 parts, preferably 15 to 100 parts; if the internuclear content is less than 10 parts, the mechanical strength will be greatly reduced, and if it exceeds 150 parts, the processability for extrusion molding, injection molding, etc. will not be sufficient. , subject to constraints from this aspect. The copolymer consisting of α-olefin and glycidyl ester of α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid used in the present invention is, for example, ethylene, propylene, ■-butene, 1-hexane, l-octene, etc., or two types thereof. It refers to a copolymer of the above and glycidyl acrylate, glycidyl methacrylate, glycidyl cyclohexene-4-carboxylate, or two or more of these. The content of glycidyl ester of α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid in the copolymer is preferably 1.0 to 20%, more preferably 3 to 1596%. If the content is less than 1.0%, not only will the moisture resistance improvement effect be insufficient, but also the compatibility between the copolymer and polyethylene terephthalate will be poor, which will likely lead to a decrease in mechanical strength.
If it exceeds 0%, the fluidity of the composition tends to decrease significantly. The copolymer is 5 to 100 parts per 100 parts of component (A),
Preferably 7 to 60 parts are used. If the amount is less than 5 parts, the effect of improving moisture resistance will not be sufficient, and if it exceeds 100 parts, the mechanical strength will be drastically reduced, resulting in a composition that is contrary to the purpose of the present invention. The composition of the present invention may contain additives commonly used in resin compositions, such as stabilizers, colorants, antistatic agents, flame retardants, processability improvers, and nucleating agents. The composition of the present invention can be manufactured by various known methods, such as a method using an extruder. The composition of the present invention produced in this way is molded, for example, by extrusion molding, injection molding, etc., and the molded product has good heat resistance, impact resistance, moisture resistance, rigidity, appearance, etc. It has the following characteristics. Therefore, auto parts,
Suitable for use in fields such as power tool housings and electrical appliance parts. Next, the composition of the present invention will be explained in more detail based on Examples and Comparative Examples. Examples 1 to 3 Modified polyethylene terephthalate-1 (phenol/1,1.
