Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the simultaneous or individual communication at plural bands by frequency-converting the input output signal of a basic transmitting receiving device equipped with a local signal generating device and a mixing circuit and executing the communication simultaneously or individually at a mutually different frequency band. CONSTITUTION:When an output frequency f1 of a VHF band basic transmitter 1 is 150 MHz, the output of the VHF transmitter is supplied through an antenna sharing device 3 to an antenna 4. on the other hand, a signal with a frequency f1 (=150MHz), which is a part of an end step power amplifier input signal derived from the VHF basic transmitter l, is mixed with an output f2(=250MHz) of a local oscillator 5 and generates respective frequency components of f2+ or - f1, f1 and f2 in a mixing circuit 6. After f2+f1(=400 MHz) only is extracted by a next step filter 7 out of these, a second power amplifier 8 amplifies it to a desired power and it is supplied through the antenna sharing device 3 to the antenna 4. Thus, only by adding a simple block, an electric wave can be simultaneously discharged in the mutually different band.

Block 1 surrounded by a dotted line in the same figure (al) is, for example, V
This is a basic transmitter for the HF band, which supplies the output of the final stage power amplifier 2 to the antenna 4 via the antenna duplexer 3, derives a part of the input of the final stage power amplifier 2, and outputs the output from the final stage power amplifier 2 to the local oscillator. The output of the antenna duplexer 3 is inputted to a mixing circuit 6 which receives the output of the antenna duplexer 3 as one input, and from this mixed output is passed through a filter 7 that passes the sum frequency, for example, and a second final stage power amplifier 8. It is connected to the input end.

Similarly, in the receiver shown in Fig. 1(b), f of the VHF band is
When 1 and f2 of the UHF band arrive at the same time, VHFft is directly input to the VHF band basic receiver 12, and υHFf2 is frequency-converted to fl, and two approximate frequency signals are input at the same time, and a beat is generated for both, and the signal is received. As the energy band of the signal expands, there is a drawback that both signals cannot be properly demodulated at the same time, but in this case, if the operation is devised to prevent double sending by transmitting only one of the signals through a telephone call, this problem can be resolved. Probably not.

Alternatively, U I-I F or V to eliminate this drawback
It may be configured to give priority to one of the HF signals and to block the input of either one of the signals to the basic receiver when 9 signals are transmitted. Examples of this means include, for example, UHF,
It would be good if both VHF and VHF were provided with an intermediate frequency amplification section to monitor the presence of each limiter current and operate the required switches.

For example, in addition to the antenna, a local oscillator can be used for both transmission and reception. In addition, by switching the output frequency of the local oscillator, it will be possible to create multiple channels.
Various modifications are conceivable, such as selectively operating only one of the bands, and further making it possible to communicate not only in the two bands but also in other bands.
