Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、特許請求の範囲第1項の上位概念に記載の球
形の繊維集合体に関する。
円形の断面を備えた成形体から成る詰め物はドイツ連邦
共和国特許公報第2.301.913号から公知である
。従ってこの詰め物は球形の繊維集合体から成り、個々
の繊維集合体を製造するには少なくとも200flの長
さの単糸が使用される。これらの糸は気流により相互に
解離され、孔を穿たれた壁を備えた容器内に吹込まれ、
その中で集められ、この容器内に気流が偏心して吹込ま
れることにより球形の成形体が形成されるように回転さ
せられる。この場合、繊維集合体が形成され、この繊維
集合体はその立体的な外側領域においてその心部領域に
おけるよりも大きな密度を有している。この繊維集合体
にはポリアミド、ポリエステル、ポリアクリル酸、ポリ
ビニールアルコール、塩化ポリビニリデン、ポリウレタ
ン或いは塩化ポリビニルから成る合成繊維が使用される
。異なる合成繊維、特にその熱可塑性の性質が異なる種
々の合成繊維を混合して使用することも可能である。
糸同士がそれらの接触点において互いに固定されるので
、これらの公知の繊維集合体は互いに入り乱れて固定し
合わされることも或いは互いに入り込み合って固定され
ることもない。たとえこれらの繊維集合体が特に嵩高性
、押圧弾性、柔軟性、熱絶縁性、軽重量性および充填さ
れるべき物体に対する良好な適合性の点で羽毛に類似し
た性質を備えていたとしも、この繊維集合体は羽毛と同
価の代用品とはなり得ない。
何故ならこの繊維集合体には羽毛の持つ液体−吸収能力
が欠けているからである。
ヨーロッパ特許第0.013.427号から、球形に互
いに絡みあっているか或いはくるみ込まれた繊維から成
る他の繊維集合体が知られている。この繊維集合体はほ
ぐれ易くかつ丸まり易く、木綿繊維或いは羊毛繊維のよ
うな天然繊維、山羊の毛、毛皮の毛等のような動物の毛
或いは合成繊維或いはこれらの混合物を有していても良
い。これらの公知の繊維集合体は針様にまとまり得る程
の密度を備えており、上記ヨーロッパ特許第0.013
.427号により層状に載置され、互いにおよび/また
は担持層と共に針状化され、次いでシート状繊維成形体
に形成される。
これらの繊維集合体は特にじゅ−たん等を造るのに適し
ている。これらの繊維集合体は根本的にはシッション、
掛け布団等のための詰め物としても使用することができ
る。しかし、これらの繊維集合体が合成繊維である場合
、これらの繊維集合体は一般に殆ど湿気を吸収し得ない
羊毛のような天然繊維を含んでいる繊維集合体は汗或い
は他の人体分泌物のような比較的多量の湿気を吸収する
ことは可能であるが、このような繊維集合体は極めて早
期に毛玉を形成し、自体団塊となるばかりでなく、他の
隣接している繊維集合体と結合してしまい、これにより
個々の繊維集合体および詰め物も全体としてもはや当初
の弾性的な特性を失ってしまう。従って、クソショッお
よび掛け布団のための、特にベット用の詰め物としてこ
れらの繊維集合体は適してはいない。
こう言ったことの下に、本発明の根底をなす課題は、色
々な特性を併せ持っており、特に一方では詰め物として
湿気を吸収する能力を備え、従って特別な天然繊維集合
体を有し、他方では大きな嵩だか性、押圧弾性、柔軟性
、熱絶縁性、軽重量および詰め物を充填される物体に対
する良好な適合性のような羽毛に類似した特性を失うこ
とのない、冒頭に記載した様式の球形の繊維集合体を造
ることである。
この課題は本発明により、特許請求の範囲第1項に記載
した特徴によって解決される。
本発明による繊維集合体の特徴とするところは、繊維集
合体の心部内にこの繊維集合体の被覆部内におけると異
なる繊維が設けられていることである。
これにより繊維集合体の繊維はこの繊維集合体の被覆部
の繊維とは異なる役目を担うことが可能となる。
被覆部の繊維は天然繊維であってもよいが、心部の繊維
は合成繊維である。天然繊維が外側に存在していること
により、この繊維集合体は外観が天然繊維のみから成る
ように見える。これは、この繊維集合体を纏った際直接
或いは間接的にこの繊維集合体が人間の肌に接触する際
に重要である。その際内側に存在している合成繊維は本
質的に外側に存在している天然繊維のための支持機能を
果たす。
しかし、繊維集合体の被覆部の繊維は本質的に機械的な
性質を発揮するが、一方繊維集合体の心部内の繊維はそ
の際本質的に水分吸収および熱絶縁の役目を果たす。
これに相応して、本発明による他の実施形にあっては心
部内には、例えば木綿繊維或いは羊毛繊維のような天然
繊維が設けられて、他方被覆部には合成のかつ特に比較
的剛性の繊維が設けられる。
このような合成繊維は↑Ω水処理されていなければなら
ず、この場合特にポリプロピレン繊維が適している。
しかしまた繊維集合体の心部は微細な、特に水分を吸収
する繊維を含んでいてもよく、一方繊維集合体の被覆部
は粗い水分を弾く繊維を含んでいる。
被覆部を繊維集合体の心部と永続的に結合するため、心
部内に侵入している被覆部の繊維を設けるのが有利であ
る。
このような繊維集合体は例えば、心部を形成する繊維集
合体の周りに他の繊維を第二の公知の球形化方法により
巻付けることによって造ることが可能である。

Claims (8)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1. 内部において個々の糸或いは繊維が互いに絡み合
    っている、特にクッションおよび掛け布団のための詰め
    物としての球形の繊維集合体において、繊維集合体の心
    部内にこの繊維集合体の被覆部内におけると異なる糸も
    しくは繊維が設けられていることを特徴とする、球形の
    繊維集合体。
  2. 2. その心部内に粗い繊維が、その被覆部内に微細な
    繊維が設けられている、特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の
    繊維集合体。
  3. 3. 被覆部が繊維集合体の繊維を介して心部と結合さ
    れている、特許請求の範囲第1項或いは第2項に記載の
    繊維集合体。
  4. 4. 被覆部の繊維が心部内に侵入、特に心部内に針状
    化して入込んでいる、特許請求の範囲第1項から第3項
    までのいずれか一つに記載の繊維集合体。
  5. 5. 一方の繊維の種類が疎水性のものであり、他方の
    繊維の種類が水分吸収性のものである、特許請求の範囲
    第1項から第4項までのいずれか一つに記載の繊維集合
    体。
  6. 6. その心部内に天然繊維が、その被覆部内に合成繊
    維が設けられている、特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の繊
    維集合体。
  7. 7. 被覆部が木綿繊維を、心部がポリエステル繊維を
    備えている、特許請求の範囲第1項から第6項までのい
    ずれか一つに記載の繊維集合体。
  8. 8. その心部内に合成繊維が、その被覆部内に天然繊
    維が設けられている、特許請求の範囲第1項から第5項
    までのいずれか一つに記載の繊維集合体。
