For this reason, as mentioned above, a configuration is adopted in which coins are classified and collected by denomination in collection cassettes for each denomination, but in a configuration in which coins are collected in each collection cassette for each denomination, the collection cassettes for each denomination are transported. When doing so, there is a problem that it is difficult to transport due to the large number of cassettes. In addition, in this configuration in which coins are collected in cassettes for each denomination, each collection cassette for each denomination has a storage space for storing a predetermined amount of coins (for example, 300 coins for each denomination).
These collection cassettes for each denomination take up a large amount of space, and the coin processing machine to which each of these cassettes is attached is also currently very large.

However, when the receiving port 5 of the opening/closing door body 8 is closed, the chute side wall portions 8b, 8b are in a state of protruding into the downward movement area of the partition member 33. A coin detection sensor 15 in the form of a light emitter/receiver is provided between both side walls of the coin storage chamber 4 at a height slightly lower than the lower edge of the opening/closing door 8. When the top end of the heaped coins is detected by this 'sensor 75, the next partition member 33

With this, the collection mode processing is completed, and an operator such as a teller removes the cassette device 50 from the coin processing machine main body 51. After transporting this cassette device 50 to a payment location or the like, the collected coins are taken out from this cassette device 50. When taking out the collected coins from the cassette device 50, first, the locking mechanism (not shown) that locks the opening/closing member 45 in the closed position is unlocked by key operation, and the opening/closing member 45 is opened at the first and second days. The partition member 33 is opened to the middle position δ. At this time, the partition member locking portion 77b of the slide rod 17 is located at a slightly lower height position than the second partition member 33. When the operator pushes the slide rod 77 to its deepest position and rotates it 90 degrees clockwise, the bin 78 moves within the relief notch 76b and is positioned at the rear of the sawtooth 80. When you release your hand from the slide rod 77, the slide rod 77 moves forward and the pin 18 engages with the sawtooth 80, causing the slide rod 77 to move forward.
stops. Coins of the denomination are sequentially taken out from the opening between the lower end of the opening/closing member 45 and the m1ft partition member 33. While taking out the coins, the second partition member 33ttfyj, which was supported by the coins of the denomination and prevented from descending, descends as the number of coins decreases, but it is stopped by the partition member locking portion 77b of the slide rod 17. After that, it is held at the height position of the slide rod 77. When all the coins on the first partition member 33 are taken out, the slide rod 77 is pressed to move the bin 78 to the rear side of the sawtooth 80, while maintaining the horizontal position of the bin 78, and to remove the coins from the partition member 33. The slide rod 77 is lowered while the member locking portion 77b remains locked with the second partition member 33, and the lower edge of the partition member locking portion 77b is placed on the upper surface of the first partition member 33. At the time of contact, the slide rod 77 is rotated 90 degrees in the counterclockwise direction and the hand is released. The bottle 77b of the slide rod 77 is in an upright position, and the slide rod 7 is moved by the biasing force of the compression spring 79.
7 moves forward and stops at the dashed line position. Due to the forward movement of the slide rod 77, the second partition member 33 resting on the partition member locking portion 77b rests on the upper surface of the first partition member 33 and stops. At this time, the opening/closing member 4
5 is lowered integrally with the lowering of the slide rod 77.

Further, in this embodiment, an example has been described in which coins are collected by denomination, but if the coins are stored by transaction in the main body of the coin processing machine, the coins can be sorted and collected in the cassette device by transaction. In addition, due to the amount of traded coins, for example, the amount of 1 yen coins and 5 yen coins collected is very small, and there are cases where it is desired to separate 1 yen coins and 5 yen coins together. All denomination coins can be considered as one type. In addition, coins of a given denomination may be classified into genuine coins and defaced coins, although they are true denomination coins. In this way, the term "by type" as used in the present invention does not simply mean by denomination.

According to the first invention, the coins taken into the coin processing machine can be collected and stored in the coin force cellar 1 to the device according to the type such as denomination or transaction, and each coin is stored in the collected coin storage space. The storage space for denominations is partitioned by movable partition members and changes depending on the amount of stored coins, so compared to conventional coins of multiple denominations that are collected all at once in a mixed state, the payment area etc. It eliminates the need to sort denominations after the denomination has been brought back to the facility, improving work efficiency, and also makes transportation easier due to the large number of cassettes compared to the conventional method of preparing collection cassettes for each denomination. This solution solves the problem of increasing the size of the coin processing machine due to the large volume occupied by all cassettes, making it easier to transport, and contributing to the miniaturization of the cassette device and coin processing machine. .
