外向姿勢でこれにセツトされるサイドパネルW3
を該溶接治具bの内向姿勢への反転でフロアW1
とルーフW2とに組付けて溶接結合するようにし
たものは知られるが、このものでは溶接作業が完
了しないと該溶接治具bに新たなサイドパネル
W3をセツト出来ず、該溶接治具b上の溶接ガン
eによりフロアW1とルーフW2とを把持せしめた
状態で該セツト台車aを該セツト位置Aに復帰さ
せ、溶接作業中に新たなフロアW1とルーフW2
を該セツト台車aにセツトして次の溶接作業に備
えるようにしても、溶接完了後に行われるサイド
パネルW3のセツト作業に比較的時間がかかり、
これが生産効率の向上を図る上で障害となる不都
合を伴う。

能率良く自動車車体を組立られるようにした装置
を提供することをその目的とするもので、セツト
位置とその前方の溶接位置との間にセツト台車を
往復動自在に設けると共に、該溶接位置の両側に
自動車車体の両側のサイドパネルを該車体のフロ
アとルーフとに溶接結合する溶接治具を備える自
動車車体の組立装置において、該セツト台車に、
該フロアを位置決めして支承するフロア用保持部
材と、更に該両サイドパネルをその上側の受縁間
に該ルーフを挾持せしめた状態で該フロアに挾圧
固定するサイドパネル用保持部材を設けて、該両
サイドパネルと該ルーフと該フロアとを該セツト
台車上にセツトした状態で該溶接位置に搬送自在
とすると共に、この状態で該溶接治具に受渡し自
在としたことを特徴とする。

対のサイドパネルW3を搬入するハンガ15aと、
該ハンガ15aから各サイドパネルW3を受取つ
てこれを位置決めした状態でフロアW1の載置位
置の両外側に降下させる前記支柱19の外側の各
支柱20に支持させた1対のドロツプリフタ15
bと、該各リフタ15bから該各サイドパネル
W3を受取つてこれをフロアW1にその側方から組
付ける1対のセツト治具15cとから成り、これ
を更に詳述するに該リフタ15bは、第8図乃至
第10図に示す如く該支柱20に昇降自在の昇降
枠21にシリンダ22により内方と外方とに進退
される可動枠23を設けて、該可動枠23に各サ
イドパネルW3の適所例えば上側のルーフサイド
レールW3aとセンタピラW3bとリアフエンタW3c
とを着脱自在に保持する図中X1,X2,X3で示す
3組の保持部材24を備えるもので、ルーフサイ
ドレールW3aを保持するX1の保持部材24はシ
リンダ25で回動される該可動枠23上の回動軸
26に前後1対に取付けられてサイドパネルW3

43で内方と外方とに開閉動作されるように取付
けられ、該アーム42を起立させた状態で該保持
部材18を閉じることにより各サイドパネルW3
のサイドシルW3f後端部を押えるように構成さ
れ、又図中Y3で示す後段の保持部材18は、第
15図に示す如くシリンダ44によりリンク機構
45を介して内方と外方とに起伏されて、各サイ
ドパネルW3のリアフエンダW3cを押えるように
構成され、かくてこれら保持部材18により両サ
イドパネルW3を前記した受縁W3d間にルーフW2
を挾持せしめた状態でフロアW1に挾圧固定し得
るようにした。

フ、サイドパネルを該セツト台車上に搬入セツト
して次の溶接に備えることが出来、溶接完了後の
溶接治具へのサイドパネルのセツトを必要とする
上記従来例のものに比し、ワークセツトのための
タイムロスを短縮して生産効率を向上することが
出来、且つ溶接治具の複数台をループ状に循環さ
せるものの如くラインスペースを増加することも
無く、又設備費も安くなる効果を有する。

を該セツト台車上にセツトした状態で該溶接位置
に搬送自在とすると共に、この状態で該溶接治具
に受渡し自在としたことを特徴とする自動車車体
の組立装置。
