FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a conventional centralized monitoring and control system with a double chain line configuration. In this centralized monitoring control system, a main master station 11 and a plurality of slave stations 1
2 1 , 12 2 ,..., 12 N are connected in parallel to the main downlink line 13, and a slave station 14 and a plurality of slave stations 12 1 ,
122 , . Note that FIG. 1 shows only the downlinks that transmit signals from the parent stations 11 and 14 to the slave stations 12 1 , 12 2 , . . . , 12 N. The terminal slave stations 12 N as seen from the main master station 11 terminate at the characteristic impedance of the main downlink line 13 (for example, matching impedance of 600Ω for a general voice band communication line), and the slave stations 12 1 , 12 2 , . . . ,12 N is
A value larger than the characteristic impedance, e.g. 40~
It is set to have an input impedance of 50 kΩ (shown as H in the figure), and similarly for the sub-downlink line 15, the slave station 12 1 has matching termination (600Ω), and the slave stations 12 2 , 12 3 , . . . , 12 N is set to an input impedance (H) larger than the characteristic impedance, and the main downlink line 13 and the secondary downlink line 1
5 are constructed so that the impedance seen from the main master station 11 and the slave station 14, respectively, to the slave station side is approximately equal to the characteristic impedance.

In this centralized monitoring and control system, if a fault such as a line break occurs in the middle of the line, the slave stations near the line break will receive extremely unstable signals due to reflected waves, and will not be able to communicate with the master station. Data cannot be exchanged normally between the two. Therefore, in such a case, even if you try to call the slave stations one after another from the master station and check the responses of the slave stations in order to detect the disconnection point, it may be difficult to receive a response due to a disconnection or some other reason. Because the signal is unstable, it becomes difficult to distinguish whether there is no response or not. As described above, the conventional centralized monitoring and control system has the disadvantage that it is not possible to clearly identify the location of a fault, and that maintenance, inspection, and reliability are not always satisfactory.

An object of the present invention is to provide a centralized monitoring and control system that eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks by detecting a fault in the main downlink via the subdownlink and then switching the connection from the main downlink to the subdownlink. It's about doing.

FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of a main part related to the i-th (i=1, 2, . . . , N) slave station of the centralized monitoring and control system according to the present invention. The overall configuration of this centralized monitoring and control system, as shown in the block diagram of FIG. 3, is almost the same as the conventional system shown in FIG. There is. In addition, in FIG. 3, in addition to the downlinks 13 and 15, slave stations 12 1 , 12 2 , ...,
A main uplink 16 and a vertical uplink 17 for transmitting signals from 12N to the parent stations 11 and 14 are also shown.
As shown in FIG. 2, the slave station 12i has demodulators 21i and 22 for downlink receiving data signals from the main master station 11 or the slave station 14.
i, changeover connection switches 23i, 24i, and a receiving circuit 25i. Demodulators 21i, 22i
are connected to the main downlink line 13 and the secondary downlink line 15, respectively, and demodulate the data signals transmitted from the main master station 11 and the slave station 14. switch 23i, 2
4i normally connects the demodulator 21i to the receiving circuit 25i, but if a failure occurs in the main downlink 13 and the received signal drops below a predetermined level, or if the received signal becomes unstable for some reason. , the demodulator 22i is connected to the receiving circuit 25i, and the slave station 12i is switched from the main line 13 to the slave line 15 according to a command from the receiving circuit 25i. Note that the receiving circuit 25
In addition to the function of detecting the received signal level as described above, i has the function of receiving data for centralized monitoring and control.

In this centralized monitoring control system, during normal operation, the main master station 11 connects multiple slave stations 1 via the main downlink 13.
2 1 , 12 2 , . This is how data is received. If a line disconnection failure occurs between the slave stations 12 2 and 12 3 as shown in FIG. 3, the slave stations 12 3 , 12 4 ,..., 12 N will:
It becomes impossible to receive the calling signal transmitted from the main master station 11. Therefore, slave stations 12 3 , 12 4 ,...,1

4 ,..., 23N and 243,244 ,..., 24N switching commands are issued. As a result, the receiving circuits 25 3 , 25 4 ,
..., 25 N are connected to the secondary downlink 15 via demodulators 22 3 , 22 4 , ..., 22 N.

As a result, the main master station 11 connects the slave stations 12 3 , 12 4 ,
..., 12 Although the calling signal is being sent to N via the main downlink 13, the slave stations 12 3 , 12 4 ,..., 1 cannot receive the calling signal.
Since no data signal is sent from 2N , the main master station 11 connects the slave stations 12 3 and 12 via the main uplink 16.
4 ,..., 12N , it is determined that a disconnection fault has occurred in one of the main downlink lines 13, and the calling of the slave station is canceled. Note that there is a possibility that the received signal of the slave station 12 2 near the disconnection point is extremely unstable due to reflected waves, and the data signal is not sent to the main master station 11 via the main uplink line 16 . The slave station 14 has an uplink 17
Each slave station 12 1 , 12 2 , ..., sent via
12 N , and if there is a slave station that does not send a data signal, it is determined that a disconnection failure has occurred in one of the main downlink lines 13, and the slave stations 12 1 , 12 are sent via the secondary downlink line 15. 2 ,…,1
2 Start calling N sequentially. Secondary down line 1
5, the lines are matched in advance as described above, so the slave stations 12 3 , 12 4 , ..., 12 N receive the paging signal from the slave station 14 and connect the main uplink 16 and the secondary Data signals are sent to the main master station 11 and slave station 14 via the line 17, respectively. On the other hand, since the slave stations 12 1 and 12 2 remain connected to the main downlink 13, the slave stations 12 1 and 12 2 remain connected to the main downlink line 13.
The main station 11 cannot receive a paging signal from the main station 11 via the main uplink line 16 and the secondary uplink line
No data signal is sent to the slave station 14. Thereby, the main master station 11 and the slave station 14 can confirm the location of the disconnection fault by not receiving a response from the slave stations 12 1 and 12 2 . In this way, the main master station 11 stops transmitting carrier waves when it confirms the location of the fault, so the receiving circuits 25 1 and 25 2 of the slave stations 12 1 and 12 2 detect this and switch 23
1 , 23 2 , 24 1 , 24 2 and slave stations 12 1 , 1
2 2 is also switched and connected from the main downlink line 13 to the secondary downlink line 15. Therefore, when a failure occurs, after the slave station 14 confirms the location of the failure,
The slave station 14 has all the slave stations 12 1 , 12 2 ,..., 1
2 N can be called to send and receive data signals.
