When connecting electronic circuits with multiple wires press-connected to connectors, depending on the distance and position of each electronic circuit, even if one end of the multiple wires is press-connected to one converging connector, some wires may be connected at the other end. In many cases, it is necessary to divide the wires into groups and to branch the wires into multiple groups by press-fitting a plurality of branch connectors to the wire groups having different lengths.

Since the transfer means (casing rail) is advanced to a position equal to or longer than the longest length of each wire group (the "longest position"), the casing rail becomes extremely long, and the driving force of the casing rail becomes large. Also, manufacturing long casing rails increases accuracy and manufacturing costs.

When setting the position of each branch connector, each branch connector is pulled back from its longest position to its respective set position, and this pullback is performed by reversing the reel around which the wire to which the branch connector is pressure-welded is wound. . In this case, a large drive means is required to drive the reel, and a large tension is applied to the wire, which causes undesirable phenomena such as elongation of the wire and even breakage of the wire.

The present invention divides a plurality of wires into multiple groups, press-connects each branch connector to the front end of each wire group having different lengths, and aligns each wire group to the rear end and press-connects one condensing connector. , a connector pressure welding means having a branch connector pressure welding part that press-fits the focusing connector pressure welding part and each branch connector at positions where the front ends of each wire group are aligned; and a pulling means for pulling out each pressure-welded branch connector to a position where a predetermined length is reached for each wire group. After pressing each branch connector, each branch connector is advanced by the transfer means to the position of the pull-out means, and the pull-out means moves each branch connector each minute to the position where each wire group has a set length. The branch connectors are drawn out and then the convergence connector is pressed against the rear end of the wire, so that each branch connector can be pulled out to a set position by means of a compact and simple construction.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the principle of an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a connector pressure-welding means, and although its mechanism is not particularly shown, it has a branch connector pressure-welding section at the rear and a convergent connector pressure-welding section at the front. This is designed to simultaneously press the converging connector to the rear end of one wire group bundle and the branch connector to the front end of the next wire group bundle. Although the pressure-welding mechanism may be a known one, it is designed to be compatible with various connector shapes.

A casing rail 2 is disposed at the rear (left side) of the pressure welding means 1 as a transfer means for pushing the front end connector 6 forward (to the right) after being pressure welded. The right end (front end surface) of the casing rail 2 acts to simultaneously push out each branch connector at the front end during forward movement. The casing rail 2 has an inverted groove shape, as shown in cross section in FIG. 2, and has guide grooves 22 at the front and rear ends for arranging and guiding a plurality of wires 7. Further, to prevent the wire 7 from falling from the groove top surface 21, springs 23 are arranged at appropriate intervals to press the wire 7 against the groove ceiling surface 21. The purpose of the spring 23 is simply to prevent the spring 23 from falling, and when the casing rail 2 moves forward, it moves forward together with the wire 7, but when the casing rail moves backward, which will be described later, it moves back while sliding against the wire 7, so its pressing force is reduced. is determined so as not to generate excessive frictional resistance when reversing.

The casing rail 2 has a mechanism for moving the casing rail 2 back and forth and is connected to a drive means. As the mechanism described above, the casing rail 2 has a pinion 24 which meshes with a rack 8 which is immovably fixed to the device. As the driving means 4, a motor 4 attached to the casing rail 2 is used.
