The first method or means is to adopt a structure that physically completely separates the round trip of the road, such as installing a fence as a separation means, or creating an open area (tree planting zone), etc. The second method or means belongs to the method in which a dividing line separating the round trip is displayed with paint etc. on the road surface near the center of the road, and the third method is This method is based on the second method of providing protrusions made of metal, concrete, etc. (commonly called chatter bars) on the division lines marked with paint or the like.

However, the first method not only requires a considerable amount of open space, but also requires fences,
In addition to requiring a large amount of money and labor to plant trees, it also has the disadvantage of not being able to easily shift to the opposite lane in case of an emergency. In the case of a separation structure using the second method, it is necessary to simply mark the road surface with paint, etc. Not only does the paint peel off due to friction from car tires, making the display difficult to read, but drivers are also more likely to cause accidents if they mistakenly or deliberately enter another lane. However, if the third method is used, the protrusions will impact the wheels of the vehicle and draw the driver's attention when the vehicle inadvertently deviates from its lane and attempts to move into the opposite lane. At the same time, since protrusions have a negative impact on cars and cargo, drivers reflexively change their course to avoid deviating from their lanes, which not only prevents accidents, but also prevents accidents. It is widely used because it has the advantage of being able to shift to the opposite lane with less impact at low speeds when it is unavoidable to shift to the opposite lane in an emergency or for maintenance work, etc. However, the protrusions are an obstacle to snow removal in areas with heavy winter snowfall. In other words, snow removal is generally carried out by attaching a plow or rotary to the front of the car, and removing snow by touching the road surface with the plow, but these protrusions become obstacles, making it impossible to remove snow completely. The remaining snow near the center of the road melts and flows onto the road surface, where it freezes and causes slip-and-fall accidents. Therefore, although it would be desirable to use protrusions as a means of constructing a two-way lane separation strip even in snowy areas, this is not actually the case.

In view of the current situation, the present invention replaces the two-way lane separation strip, which is usually formed in the center of the road, with grooves lower than the road surface along the direction of vehicle travel on the road.
By forming protrusions in the groove at intervals that are not higher than the depth of the groove, if the vehicle inadvertently deviates from the lane in which it is currently traveling and attempts to move into the opposite lane, When a wheel falls into a pothole, a protrusion in the pothole causes a shock, and this repeats, alerting the driver, which can prevent accidents, and can also be stopped in case of emergencies or road maintenance work. If you are forced to shift to the opposite lane, you can shift to the opposite lane with less impact if the speed is low. Therefore, it not only has almost the same advantages as the separation strip using protrusions in the third method or means mentioned above, but also has the disadvantage of completely removing snow without leaving any snow on the road surface. make it possible to do,
This invention makes it possible to provide a two-way lane separation strip that can prevent slip accidents caused by melting and freezing of remaining snow on the road surface. The present invention will be explained in detail below with reference to illustrated embodiments. shall be.

In the figure, 1 is a median strip provided in the center of the road along the direction of vehicle travel on the road to form two-way lanes 2, 2. Median strip 1 is a long groove extending in the direction of vehicle travel on the road. 3 and a large number of protrusions 4 provided within the long groove 3. Width of long groove 3,
The depth, height, spacing, shape, direction, etc. of the protrusions 4 are as follows:
It can be set as appropriate depending on road conditions such as the speed limit and slope of the road, but it must be able to cause the wheels of the car to drop and alert the driver. For example, the width of the long groove 3 must be large enough to allow the driver's wheels to fall into it, and the width of the long groove 3 must be large enough to alert the driver.
It is necessary to set the depth of the protrusions 4, the height of the protrusions 4, the spacing, etc. Furthermore, the height of the protrusion 4 needs to be set to a height that does not exceed the road surface 8 near the median strip so as not to interfere with snow removal work or the like. Further, it is desirable that the protrusion 4 has a length that does not span the entire width of the long groove 3 so that water can be drained within the long groove 3.

As a means for forming the long grooves 3, a concave section 5 can be formed of concrete or the like as shown in FIG. In this case, if the round trip lanes 2 and 2 are paved with asphalt, the visibility of the median strip 1 will be excellent, but by applying paint to the side strips 6, a partition line 7 will be formed and visible. It is possible to further improve sexual performance.

In order to improve the visibility of the protrusion 4, it is also possible to attach reflective paint, a reflective device, etc. so that it can be seen from the vehicle.

As is clear from the above description, the road lane separation strip according to the present invention has grooves lower than the road surface along the direction of vehicle travel on the road, and protrusions no higher than the depth of the grooves are placed in the grooves at intervals. If a car inadvertently deviates from the lane it is currently traveling in and tries to move into the opposite lane, it will shock the car and alert the driver. In addition to preventing collisions, in case of an emergency or when you are forced to shift to the opposite lane due to road maintenance work, etc.
At low speeds, it is not only possible to shift to the opposite lane with less impact, but also to completely remove snow from the road surface without leaving any remaining snow on the road in snowy areas, and the snow in the grooves will melt. In this case, since the volume is reduced, water will not overflow outside the ditch, and water can be easily drained by setting up a collection basin at an appropriate location and using a cross pipe, which will prevent slip accidents caused by melting or freezing of remaining snow on the road surface. The present invention has made it possible to provide a two-way lane separation strip that has excellent practical effects in that it can prevent such problems from occurring, and the garbage in the ditch can be easily cleaned with a sweeper or the like.
