However, these days, this is no longer sufficient, and there is a risk that a car that deviates from the center line will collide head-on with an oncoming car on the opposite side, causing a serious accident. Two methods are adopted.

The first is a line-of-sight guidance system in which a protrusion incorporating glass beads or a resin plate that visually reflects back is installed on the center line to make it easier to see, especially at night or on rainy days when visibility is difficult. The second method is to install a protrusion on the center line of the road, and use the impact generated when the car's wheels run over the protrusion to remind the driver that the road is on the center line.

In order to use both of these methods in combination to provide impact and visual field guidance, a chatter bar is used in which reflecting members are attached to the front and rear surfaces of a protrusion made of metal or the like.

However, it is sufficient that the impact when the car lands on the chatter bar is a suitable level that makes the driver aware that the car is on the center line, but if the impact is too large, the driver may mishandle the steering wheel or This will cause damage to the vehicle.

On the other hand, in order to avoid excessive impact on the towing vehicle, a guidance sign called an aprom, which has a line-of-sight guidance specimen made of elastic material such as rubber fixedly established on the base, was developed. Can be used in combination or alone.

The line-of-sight guide specimen of this guide sign easily falls down when a car runs over it, and then restores itself after the car passes, so it has the advantage of not causing excessive impact to the car.
When repeatedly trampled by automobiles, the line-of-sight guiding specimen made of elastic material is bent extremely close to its base, which has the disadvantage of causing it to eventually break.

In view of the current situation, the present invention has been devised to provide a line-of-sight guide specimen body made of an elastic material, in which a column plate for line-of-sight guide is established on a thick base, and a dovetail-type large groove into which the base can be inserted from one side. The opposing opening edges are both curved edges with a circular arc shape in longitudinal section, and a base that passes through a base extrusion hole to allow the inserted base to be extruded from the other side. By changing the shape, it is possible to make the length of the elastic material visual guidance specimen suitable for visual guidance, and when a car runs over the visual guidance sign, the elastic material visual guidance specimen can be set to a suitable length for visual guidance. Not only does the specimen easily fall over and provide a suitable impact to the driver so that he or she knows that it is on the center line, but the line-of-sight guidance specimen made of elastic material gently curves in an arc along the edge of the opening of the base. Since the sign is curved, the durability against repeated deformation is significantly improved, making it possible to provide a line-of-sight guide sign that is less likely to break. do.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a line-of-sight guiding specimen in which a pillar plate 3 is established along the long side direction of the base on a thick base 2 that is approximately oval-shaped rectangular when viewed from the top. Near the top, a line-of-sight guiding reflector 4 is attached, in which glass beads, an uneven resin plate, etc. are embedded, or a reflective paint is applied.

Reference numeral 5 designates a base having a shape that is high in the center and becomes lower as it approaches both ends.
A dovetail-shaped fitting groove 6 that can be inserted from one side is formed, and an opening 7 for extruding the base is formed on the other side.

The opposing opening edges 8 of the dovetail-shaped fitting groove 6 are both curved edges with a circular arc shape in longitudinal section, and as shown in FIG. Since it is curved along the curved edge, the possibility of breakage is extremely reduced.

Here, in order to facilitate the insertion operation and ensure fixation after insertion, the gap between the base 2 of the line-of-sight guide specimen 1 and the dovetail-shaped insertion groove 6 of the base 5 is set such that the former It is desirable that the gap between the former and the latter is wide, and as it is inserted, the gap narrows until the former and the latter are completely in contact with each other.

Figure 4 shows Utility Application No. 1112, 1983, which the present applicant previously filed.
28 (Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-51714), it is arranged in a long groove 9 provided along the center line of a road, and the width and depth of the long groove 9 are determined according to the road. It can be set as appropriate depending on road conditions such as speed limit and gradient, and is usually set to a level that would cause the wheels of a car to drop and alert the driver.

In snowy areas, protrusions on the road surface become an obstacle to snow removal, and the residual snow melts and flows on the road surface, freezes, and causes slips. However, protrusions smaller than the depth of the grooves in the long grooves 9 have been installed. If this is done, the remaining snow will not become a hindrance to snow removal, and the remaining snow will not flow from the long grooves 9 onto the road surface, and can be easily drained using appropriate drainage equipment.

Furthermore, since the line-of-sight guide specimen 1 of the present invention can be easily removed from the base 5, if it is removed in winter, it will not become an obstacle to snow removal, and the remaining protrusions of the base 5 can be removed from the grooves. Since it is smaller than the snowflakes, it does not become an obstacle to snow removal.

As is clear from the above description, the line-of-sight guide sign according to the present invention includes a line-of-sight guide body made of an elastic material with a line-guidance pillar plate established on the base, and a dovetail groove into which the base can be inserted from one side. The opposing opening edges of the mold-fitting large groove are both curved edges with a circular arc shape in longitudinal section, and the base is inserted through the base extrusion hole, which is used for extruding the inserted base from the other side. Because of its shape, it is possible to select the height of the pillar plate so that the reflector is placed in the optimal position for visibility at night or in rainy weather, while also being able to be positioned so that it does not interfere with the vehicle in the event of a vehicle running over it. Not only does it not cause excessive impact that can cause damage, it not only alerts the driver to the appropriate level of caution, but it is also extremely unlikely to break due to repeated use, has a long service life, and is easy to remove or replace. Since the line-of-sight guide specimen is only tightly fitted into the large dovetail groove of the base, it can be easily inserted into the dovetail groove by pressing with an appropriate extrusion tool through the extrusion opening. It has excellent practical utility, such as being able to be easily removed, simply inserting it into the large groove, and completing the work easily, and not causing traffic jams. .
