In order to solve this problem, conventionally a fuse 50 was installed on the high voltage side of the high voltage transformer 1, as shown in FIG.
When the anode and cathode were short-circuited, the fuse 50 was used to break the circuit. However, this configuration had the disadvantage that it was difficult to set the fuse capacity and the cost was high.

In addition, as shown in Figure 2, there is a configuration in which a primary main fuse is provided on the primary side and a diode 52 is straddled between the poles of the high-voltage capacitor 4. The drawback was that the input changes rapidly.

<Structure of the invention> This invention was made in order to improve the drawbacks of the prior art described above, and includes a magnetic detector that detects changes in leakage magnetic flux of a high-voltage transformer, and a circuit that shuts off according to the output of the magnetic detector. The basic feature is that it has a device for

In this embodiment, a Hall element 10 is used as the magnetic detector, and this is arranged near the secondary side of the high voltage transformer 1. This Hall element 10 is connected to a detector 12 via an amplifier 11. The detector 12 is further provided with a relay 13, and this relay contact 13a is interposed in parallel on the power supply side so as to form a short circuit with the primary main fuse 14.

In the above configuration, when an anode-cathode short circuit of the magnetron and rectifier occurs, a change appears in the magnetic flux mainly on the secondary side of the high voltage transformer 1. This change is detected by the Hall element 10, amplified by the amplifier 11, and input to the detector 12. Detector 12 energizes relay 13 according to the output from Hall element 10 . When relay 13 is energized, its contacts 13a close, shorting fuse 14 and breaking the circuit. As a result, overcurrent does not flow through the high voltage transformer 1 for a long time, and burnout or ignition of the transformer can be prevented.

<Effects of the invention> As explained above, according to the safety device of the invention, burnout of the transformer, etc. can be effectively prevented. Furthermore, there is no difficulty in setting the fuse capacity, and reliable operation can be easily achieved. Further, there is an advantage that there is no need to directly insert components such as diodes into the high voltage circuit on the secondary side.
