Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove the quantity of unbalance of a rotary scroll and improve reliability by providing a recessed form part which makes the position of the center of gravity of a rotary scroll agree with the center of a crankshaft for driving said rotary scroll, on the outer peripheral part of the end plate of said rotary scroll. CONSTITUTION:A rotary scroll 2 consists of an end plate 2B in a form of a flange plate, a lap 2A, a boss part 2C which is projected out in the opposite direction from the lap 2A on the end plate 2B, and a bearing recess part 2D into which a bearing is fitted and which is recessedly provided in the boss part 2C. On the outer peripheral part of the end plate 2B nearly opposite to the extended end side of the lap 2A, a recessed form part 1 is formed inside the thick-wall end plate 2B. By this structure, the center of gravity of the rotary scroll 2 agrees with the center of the bearing recess part 2C which agrees with the center of a crankshaft due to the recessed form part 1, thereby, removing the quantity of unbalance and improving the reliability of a compressor.
