Abstract

PURPOSE: To receive the ID code of a mobile body traveling at high speed by means of an inexpensive method, by arranging a transmission antenna to communicate with the mobile body, and plural reception antennas, in the moving direction of the mobile body. CONSTITUTION:An 10 request output circuit 7 outputs an ID transmission request signal ID periodically from the transmission antenna 2, and the mobile body 1 receiving the signal transmits its own ID code. Antenna reception signals 11-14 corresponding to repective part of the same ID code received from the reception antennas 31-34, after being amplified and waveform-arranged by amplification and arrangement circuits 41-44 respectively, are superposed by logical OR, and a logical OR reception signal 15 can be obtained. By checking the format and the error of the logical OR reception signal 15 through a checking circuit 6, it is possible to obtain a correct reception data, and to recognize the ID code of the mobile body.

Traditionally, this type of communication equipment for general purposes (e.g., factory automation, security, detection of vehicles on highways, etc.) has had to use weak radio waves due to restrictions under the Radio Law. This weak radio wave communication device mounted on a moving object cannot be made very sensitive due to the lifespan of the battery on the moving object. Therefore, the communication distance between such a moving object and the stationary communication device corresponding to the object must also be short. For example, in this type of communication using the 100 to 500 KHz band, in reality, The communication distance must be 1 to 1.5 meters or less. On the other hand, in order to communicate the necessary data within such a short communication distance, the moving speed of the moving object must also be slowed down. For example, the carrier frequency of the communication is 500KHz, IBi
If the number of carrier signal waves per data t is 100 waves, the data transmission rate is 500KHz/100 = 5KBPS, but at this transmission rate, the number is 25 digits, that is, 100B.
If data is to be communicated, the communication time for one data is 100B 1t150008 P S
=20ms. Assuming that five data communications are performed in one communication chance, the communication time is 20 m s x 5 = 10
0ms, and if the communication request transmission time to the moving object before this communication is 50m5, the communication time for one communication chance is toom S + 50ms = 150
ms. In order to maintain the above communication distance within this communication time of 150 m5, if the moving distance of the moving object during this time is to be within 1 m, the moving speed of the moving object, for example a car, is 2.
Must be limited to 4KM/H or less. However, the position of the antennas on the vehicle also varies depending on the vehicle, so in order to maintain the distance to these antennas at the above-mentioned communication distance, the distance traveled by the vehicle within one communication chance must be further reduced. Practically speaking, it is desirable that communication be possible at vehicle speeds of at least 60 km/h. As described above, conventional communication devices of this type for general use have a problem in that it is difficult to effectively communicate data with objects that move at high speed.

The present invention will be explained in detail below based on FIGS. 1 and 2. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the main structure of an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a time chart for explaining the operation of FIG. 1. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 indicates an object (for example, a car) that moves at high speed in the X direction, and is equipped with a receiving device and a transmitting device (not shown) inside.
In response to the transmission request signal, it transmits its own ID code to the outside (stationary side). A transmitting antenna 2 transmits an ID transmission request signal 10 (FIG. 2) output from the ID request output circuit 7 toward the moving object 1. 3 (31 to 34) are receiving antennas for receiving transmission data (ID code) from the moving object 1. Here, the transmitting antenna 2 and the receiving antennas 31 to 34 are arranged side by side in the X direction. 4 (41 to 44) is an amplification shaper that amplifies and shapes the received signals from each antenna 3, that is, antenna reception signals 11 to 14 (Fig. 2), 5 is an OR circuit, and 6 is a receiver. This is a number check circuit. The ID request output circuit 7 periodically outputs the ID transmission request signal 10 from the transmitting antenna 2 as shown in FIG. Output. The moving object l that receives this request signal 10 transmits its own ID code. this

[The receiving antennas 31 to 34 each share the D code and receive it in time series. The data received by each antenna 3 differs depending on the moving speed of the moving object 1. Furthermore, although four receiving antennas 3 are arranged in FIG. 1, the number of receiving antennas 3 may be set arbitrarily depending on the maximum moving speed of the moving object l. Antenna reception numbers 11 to 11 corresponding to each part of the same ID code received from these reception antennas 31 to 34

A logical sum signal 15 is obtained. By checking the format and error of this OR reception signal 15 via the reception signal check circuit 6, it is possible to obtain correct reception data and to know the ID code of the moving object 1. [Effects of the Invention] According to the present invention, since a transmitting antenna and a plurality of receiving antennas for communicating with a moving object are arranged in the direction of movement of the moving object, it is possible to easily detect a moving object from a high-speed moving object in an inexpensive manner. , and can receive its ID code. Also, since I decided to use multiple identical receiving antennas,
The advantage is that this communication device can be simply constructed by combining standard parts.
