Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the durability of the titled roller by constituting a silicone rubber layer having a prescribed compsn. and forming a fluoroplastic layer on the surface thereof, thereby increasing the adhesive power of the two layers. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. of heat-vulcanization type silicone rubber which is formed by compounding adequate ratios of a filler, vulcanizer and other additives to silicone rubber consisting of dimethyl polysiloxane having a vinyl group at the side chain or terminal and having 6,000,000mol.wt. or above and has 1.0X10<3>cal/cm.sec deg.C heat conductivity is adhered by vulcanization onto the core shaft of the roller to form the silicone rubber layer thereon. A fluoroplastic dispersion is coated on such silicone rubber layer and is calcined to form the fluoroplastic layer. As the filler, 5-20pts.wt. dry silica, 50-150pts. wt. quartz powder, 20-50pts.wt. titanium compd., and 5-50pts.wt. alumina are compounded in 100pts.wt. silicone rubber.
