Conventionally, in automotive air conditioners, a case has been formed by joining divided cases for assembly reasons, and the structure is as shown in Fig. 1, which consists of a pair of divided cases 1 and 2. are provided with connecting edges 3 and 4 formed abutting each other, projecting edges 5 and 6 are integrally formed outward from these connecting edges 3 and 4, and recesses 7 and 6 are formed at the bases of these projecting edges 5 and 6. form 8. On the other hand, engagement spring parts 10 and 11 are formed by bending both ends of the steel clip 9 inwardly and outwardly.
0 and 11 into the recesses 7 and 8 to form a connecting edge 3,
When assembling, as shown in Fig. 2, the divided cases 1 and 4 are closely connected.
After the connecting edges 3 and 4 of 2 are brought into close contact, one end 10 of the clip 9 is engaged with one end of the recess 7 at the base of the projecting edge 5, and the other end 11 of the clip 9 is applied with an external force C from the outside. In addition, the pair of divided cases 1 and 2 are fixed by being elastically deformed and engaged with the recess 8. However, since the steel clips 9 are thin steel plates and have strong elasticity, a large external force C is required during assembly, and there is a risk of injury to fingers, etc., and many clips 9 must be fitted one by one. However, there is a problem that the workability is also poor. Further, there was a problem that the clip 9 could be lost when removed.

The present invention will be described below with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings. Figures 3 and 4 show an example in which the present invention is applied to an automobile air conditioner, in which the first divided case 1 and the second divided case 2 are usually molded from resin and are integrally connected. By doing so, an air passage for air conditioning is formed inside. Specifically, the divided cases 1 and 2 form a case of a cooler unit containing a refrigerant evaporator or a case of a heater unit containing a heater core. A mounting leg part 12 is integrally formed on one end side of the steel clip 9 having spring properties, and an engaging part 13 is integrally molded in the middle part. The second projecting edge 6 of the divided case 2 is securely fixed by the claw 14, and a claw 15 is also formed on the mounting leg 12 of the clip 9. On the other hand, the first case of split case 1
A groove 16 into which the pawl 15 of the mounting leg 12 can be inserted is formed in the projecting edge 5 of the split case 2.
A recess 17 is formed in the protruding edge 6 into which the above-mentioned retaining claw 14 can be inserted, and a tip 18 of the protruding edge 6 is formed.
is formed into an acute angle shape so that the claw 14 can be easily inserted into the recess 17. Further, a handle portion 19 located at the tip of the engaging portion 13 is formed on the other end side of the clip 9. Note that the clip 9 can be integrally molded into the shape shown in the figure from a single flat steel plate.

To explain the work of joining the split cases 1 and 2 in the above configuration, first, the mounting leg 12 of the clip 9
By inserting and locking the clip 9 into the groove 16 formed in one split case 1, the clip 9 is prevented from coming off easily. Then, by assembling the other case 2 from the direction of arrow B in FIG. 2 protruding edge 6
The tip 18 of the clip 9 slides on the handle 19 of the clip 9 and receives a force in the direction of arrow A. As a result, clip 9
is elastically deformed in the direction of arrow A using the mounting leg 12 as a fulcrum, and finally the connecting edges 3, 4 are deformed as shown in FIG.
When the claws 14 are in close contact with each other, the claws 14 touch the recesses 1 of the protrusion 6.
7 and are locked, the pair of split cases 1 and 2 are reliably joined together with the engaging portion 13.

In this way, according to the present invention, the clip 9
By assembling the other split case 2 to the split case 1 with the split case 1 attached, the clip 9 can be elastically deformed and both cases 1 and 2 can be joined together. 9
The assembling workability is greatly improved compared to the case where the parts are elastically deformed one by one and assembled. That is, when joining a pair of split cases 1 and 2, normally about 6 to 10 clips 9 are used, but according to the present invention, by attaching this large number of clips 9 to one split case 1 in advance, By simultaneously elastically deforming a large number of clips 9 using the other split case 2, both cases 1 and 2 can be easily connected, and the assembling workability is greatly improved.

When removing both cases 1 and 2, use an appropriate tool such as a screwdriver or your hand to elastically deform the handle 19 of the clip 9 in the direction of arrow A in FIG. Since it can be easily removed and the clip 9 remains attached to one of the divided cases 1 even after removal, various practical effects such as eliminating the risk of loss can be obtained.

In the above-described embodiment, the fitting protrusion 3a and the recess 4 are provided on the coupling edges 3 and 4 of the pair of split cases 1 and 2.
A is formed to enhance the sealing effect, but the protrusions 3a and recesses 4a are not necessarily necessary and can be omitted.

Furthermore, the clip 9 is not limited to being made of metal, but may also be made of resin or the like, and it goes without saying that the detailed shape of the clip 9 can be modified in various ways as required.
