Conventionally, a commonly used non-invasive blood pressure monitor is a cuff that is wrapped around the upper arm to provide tight restraint.
and an air balloon that inflates the cuff, and a mercury column (or an aneroid manometer) connected to the cuff.
There is also a known type that uses a stethoscope that detects scraping sounds in combination. However, this blood pressure monitor set is large and bulky, so it is not suitable for portable use. Of course, handling this blood pressure monitor is troublesome and requires skill, and a particular problem is that it is difficult to measure it by one person (oneself). That is, it is not easy to wrap the wide arm cuff around one's other arm with one hand. Moreover, it is difficult for the general public to place the stethoscope in front of a predetermined brachial artery (particularly, it is difficult to handle the stethoscope with one hand). In addition, with this type of blood pressure monitor, the cuff, air balloon, and mercury column are connected through a rubber tube, so if you are not used to handling it, you may pick up vibration noise from the rubber tube itself, which may be mistaken for a scraping sound. It might invite you. Therefore, this type of blood pressure monitor cannot accurately measure blood pressure unless it is handled by a trained person (such as a doctor).

That is, the present invention uses a watch band-like wrist strap that is applied to the wrist pulse point, which is the pulse detection position that ordinary people often use, as a means of binding the artery, and the artery pressing shaft is placed on this hard application part to tighten the artery. Blood flow is controlled by directly compressing the arterial pressure shaft, and a friction sound detection sensor installed near the arterial pressing shaft captures the sound, and this signal lights up a light emitting diode on the upper surface of the rigid covering part. At the same time, the threaded part of the artery pressing shaft is transmitted to a manometer installed in the hard fitting part, and the blood pressure is displayed.

To explain this effect now, first of all, this blood pressure monitor 1.
6, the hard applicator 2 of the watch band-like wrist strap 1 is placed on the wrist where the compressor 7 of the artery pressing shaft 6 facing the lower surface of the hard applicator 2 is placed on the wrist when taking the pulse. Place the wrist so that it comes to the artery position (pulse point) A, and under this condition, tighten the band by passing the band body 3 at the front and rear positions around the wrist. in this case,
The locking means for the band body 3 is provided with velvet type fasteners 18, 18' on both opposing sides, so that the band body 3 can be simply wrapped around the wrist and adjusted according to the wrist diameter of each person. It can be installed with a constant wrapping pressure.

Here, when measuring blood pressure, take a photograph of the top part of the artery pressing shaft 6 that is erected on the hard fitting part 2 and turn it in one direction with two fingers, for example. Since the body 6 is sequentially moved (pushed) downward by the action of the feed screw part 6b formed on the shaft part 6a, the compressor 7 integrated with the lower end is appropriately paid out from the lower surface of the hard application part 2, and the The arterial position A, which is pre-positioned, is pressed in spots to stop the blood flow in the pulse. In this case, as the artery pressing shaft 6 rotates, this shaft 6
The drive gear 8 provided at a also rotates, and the operating gear 12 rotates via the transmission gears 9, 9 meshing with the drive gear 8, and the link portion 11a of the operating shaft 11 rotates.
In order to rotate the swingable sector 19, the pointer 21 integrated with the pinion 20 meshed with the fan-shaped gear portion 19a of the sector 19 swings, moving the scale plate 22 surface to indicate the blood pressure value. When obtaining this state of stopped blood flow, refer to the subject's past blood pressure values, etc., and set the value to a level that slightly exceeds the upper limit.
The arterial pressing shaft 6 is pushed in advance until the pointer 21 comes.

Next, in this state (stopped blood flow), if the artery pressing shaft 6 is rotated in the opposite direction and the compressor 7 is slightly retracted (raised), the blood flow that had been stopped until now will begin to flow and the heartbeat will begin to flow. A scraping sound (Korotkoff sound) is generated in synchronization with the This frictional sound is caught by a frictional sound detection sensor 13 placed near the compressor 7, amplified by an amplifier 14 to form a shaped output signal, and this output is input to a light emitting diode 15. The diode 15 lights up (for example, the detection configuration of an electronic blood pressure monitor is a combination of a sensor, an amplifier, a bandpass filter, a wave detector, an amplitude discriminator, a light emitting diode, etc.).
In this way, when the light emitting diode 15 lights up, if the value of the pointer 21 of the manometer 10 is read,
That is the systolic pressure. in this case,
Lighting of the light emitting diode 15 may be blinking lighting or continuous lighting.

Furthermore, in this state, if the artery pressing shaft 6 is rotated in the opposite direction to loosen the pressure of the compressor 7 on the artery, this scraping sound suddenly becomes smaller and disappears at a certain position. At this time, since the friction sound catch of the sensor 13 stops, there is no output converted by the sensor 13, so the light emitting diode 15
The light goes out. If the value of the pointer 21 is read at this time, it becomes the diastolic blood pressure (diastolic pressure).

In addition, in order to make it easier to detect frictional sounds, the sensor 13 is formed into a slightly protruding shape from the lower surface of the hard application part 2 so that it fits better on the skin surface. Further, the scale configuration of the scale plate 22 is scaled (adjusted) to a value that corresponds to the measured value with a commonly used mercury column type blood pressure monitor. In the figure, 23 is a return spring attached to the shaft of the pointer 21.

As mentioned above, the blood pressure monitor of the present invention has a watchband-like structure in which a cuff is wrapped around the wrist, an artery pressing shaft that directly presses the artery on this hard application part, and a mechanical system that uses the rotation of the artery pressing shaft. A manometer unit that provides instructions in conjunction with the target is integrally installed on the edge of the hard fitting part, and serves as an indicator light that receives the output of a friction sound detection sensor provided on the upper surface and the lower part of the hard fitting part. By having a configuration equipped with a light emitting diode, the overall device becomes a compact and portable type. Of course, due to the watch band type binding,
It can be wrapped around the wrist by one person (oneself), and handling is as simple as turning the artery pressing shaft. That is, the control of blood flow, which is the first feature of the present invention, is achieved by applying the compressor of the arterial pressing shaft directly to a vein that can be normally detected by ordinary people, and simply pressing the artery pressing shaft. This allows easy and reliable bloodline control. Moreover, since the scraping sound that occurs only when the blood vessel is constricted is detected by a scraping sound detection sensor placed near the compressor, it is possible to obtain reliable sound recording, and this is a visual observation type that lights up a light emitting diode. As a result, unlike the conventional stethoscope method, it does not require any skill and has practical effects such as being easily detectable by anyone.
