    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 色の三原色、つまりイエロ、マゼンダ、シアン
    のインクが塗布されたエリアが交互に配置された
    、帯状のカラーインクシートと、サーマルヘツド
    と、プラテンと、色判別センサと、モータと、モ
    ータと連動するクラツチと、制御部とを具備した
    感熱転写型カラープリンタにおいて、前記カラー
    インクシートは筒状のホルダに終端部が接着等で
    固定され、かつ各エリアに対応したの検知マーク
    が各エリアの前部に設けられており、カラーイン
    クシート供給軸から色判別センサまでの行路長ｘ
    と、カラーインクシート供給軸からサーマルヘツ
    ドまでの行路長ｙと、カラーインクシートの終端
    部から最後の検知マークまでの長さｚとの関係を
    ｘ＜ｚ＜ｙとし、検知マークが色判別センサによ
    つて検知されず、かつモータが所定時間以上空転
    すると、カラーインクシートの終了と制御部が判
    断することを特徴とする感熱転写型カラープリン
    タ。
