(Prior Art) Conventionally, a laundry amount detection device is equipped, and depending on the detected amount of laundry, the execution time of processes such as washing, rinsing, etc., water level and water flow, etc.
Furthermore, various types of washing machines have been proposed that automatically control the spin-drying time, etc., and various types of laundry amount detection devices have also been proposed.

As an example, the motor current value after a certain period of time after the washing motor is started is detected, the average value of the detected current values is calculated, and the amount of laundry is determined based on the average value. There is a detection device (Tokuko Sho 61-225

FIG. 3 is a diagram showing changes in the current flowing through the washing motor, and the explanation will be given according to this diagram. The part of the current indicated by ■ is the inrush current when the motor starts, and in this part there are many causes of variation such as belt slippage, making it unsuitable as detection data for the amount of laundry. It detects the current value and increases the accuracy of detection accuracy.

However, even after t1, the motor current may fluctuate sharply due to the twisting of the cloth, etc., as shown by ■ in Fig. The current value is also taken in as data, the average value A of the current values including this value is determined, and the amount of laundry is determined based on this average value A, which results in a lack of accuracy. In addition, in the conventional method, if the current value is detected over a long period of time and the average value is calculated, the influence of cloth twist etc. will be reduced and the detection accuracy of the amount of laundry will be increased. This requires more time than necessary, resulting in wasted time. In Fig. 3, B shows the average value obtained by measuring many times with the same amount of cloth, and there is a large difference between it and the average value A obtained by measuring in a short time using the conventional method due to the influence of cloth bias, etc. It makes a difference.

A means 5a for detecting instantaneous fluctuations in the current of the washing motor 3 that rotates the stirring blade 2, a means 5b for comparing the detected instantaneous fluctuation value with a preset reference value, and a means 5b for comparing the instantaneous fluctuation value with the reference value. means 5c for determining whether or not the current determination result is the same as the previous determination result when it is determined to be less than or equal to the value; means 5d for storing the current current value of the washing motor 3 when the determination result is the same; and the stored value. It is provided with means 5e for determining the average value, and means (laundry amount converter 6) for determining the amount of laundry based on the average value. Then, in the means 5b, a reference value determined and set in advance from experimental data etc. and the means 5a are used.
By comparing the instantaneous fluctuations directly detected by the method, sudden fluctuations caused by the twisting of the cloth, etc. are detected, and the current value at that time is excluded from the data.

Even when there is a sudden fluctuation caused by twisting the cloth, etc., the instantaneous fluctuation value becomes less than the reference value at the inflection point (the point where the change changes from + to 1 change or from - change to 10 changes), and the current value at this time is determined by means 5b. However, it can be excluded by the following means 5c.

(Function) With the above configuration, the means 5d does not store values affected by the bias of the cloth (for example, the value of the 0 part in FIG. 3), and therefore the average value determined by the means 5e is the same as that of the cloth. (Embodiment) Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing the control system of a washing machine in an embodiment of the present invention. A washing motor that rotates the blades 2, 4 a laundry amount detection device, and 7 the detection device 4.
This is a controller that controls, for example, the execution time of the washing process, water flow, etc., based on the laundry amount signal obtained from the washing process. The laundry amount detection device 4 includes a means 5a for detecting the instantaneous fluctuation value of the current of the washing motor 3, a means 5b for comparing the instantaneous fluctuation value with a preset reference value, and a means 5b for comparing the instantaneous fluctuation value with a preset reference value. Means 5c for determining whether the current determination result is the same as the previous determination result when the determination is made; means 5b for storing the current current of the washing motor 3 when the determination result is the same; and calculating the average value from the stored values. Average current detection section 5 including means 5e
and a laundry amount converter 6 that determines the amount of laundry based on the above-mentioned average value and outputs a signal corresponding to the determined amount.

First, the flag 1 of the average current detection section 5 is set to "1". Then, the controller 7 resets the timer, energizes the washing motor 3, and rotates the stirring blade 2 for a certain period of time Ts.

During this time, the average current detection unit 5 detects the instantaneous fluctuation value of the current of the washing motor 3, and compares this value with a reference value. If the instantaneous fluctuation value is larger than the reference value, it is determined that the sudden fluctuation is due to motor startup, cloth twisting, etc., and flag 1 is set to "1".
'', the instantaneous variation value is detected again and compared with the reference value, and this operation is repeated until the instantaneous variation value becomes equal to or less than the reference value.

When the instantaneous fluctuation value becomes less than the reference value, flag 1 becomes "1".
” or “0”. If flag 1 is "1", flag 1 is set to "0", and if it is "0", the current value of the washing motor 3 measured this time is memorized, and then the instantaneous fluctuation value is measured again and the above comparison and judgment are made. repeat. Here, the reason why flag 1 is checked to see whether it is "1" or "0" to determine whether it should be stored or not is that when there is a sudden change due to twisting of the cloth, the instantaneous fluctuation value is This is because the current value is below the reference value only once and the value at that time is not taken in.The current value is only stored when the instantaneous fluctuation value is determined to be below the reference value two or more times in a row. There is.

Therefore, the stored current value is a value in a stable period that is unrelated to motor startup, cloth twisting, etc.

After a certain period of time Ts has elapsed and the washing motor 3 is no longer energized, the average value of the current values stored while the washing motor 3 was energized is determined. (Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, the current value or power consumption value of the washing motor is stored, excluding values affected by the twist of the cloth, etc., and the average value is calculated from the values to calculate the amount of laundry. By determining this, it is possible to always detect the amount of laundry with high accuracy even in a short period of time.
