Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to highly accurately manufacture a form in a short time by a method wherein the surface of a mold master is adherently covered by thin covers, the surface of which is coated or impregnated with hardening resin, so as to remove the mold master from a resin form, which is produced by hardening said hardening resin. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a mold master 1 is adherently covered by thin covers. In this case, for example, the mold master 1 is an actual foot, and the covers 2 and 3 are socks or the like, which adhere to the shape of the foot. In addition, the surface of the mold master covered by the covers 2 and 3 is coated or impregnated with hardening resin 4'. As the hardening resin, ultraviolet-curing resin, photo-setting resin, thermosetting resin and the like may be mentional. As the method for covering said resin, the coating by spraying, the immersion of the mold master in resin solution and the like are exampled. Next, the covered hardening resin is treated with ultraviolet-curing, photo-setting, thermosetting or the like. Finally, the mold master 1 is removed from the resultant hardened resin form 4. The frame 5 obtained as mentioned above precisely corresponds to the shape of the mold master.

[Prior art and its problems] Shoes are generally manufactured using a last called a wooden last, but when making so-called custom-made shoes, skilled workers use their experience and expertise to determine the foot dimensions. Based on the measurements, a standard open mold prepared in advance is corrected, and the corrected last is used to manufacture a specified shoe. However, this method has the disadvantage that it is difficult to make shoes that fit the foot perfectly, and that productivity is low and costs are high. There are also devices that can automatically measure foot dimensions, but these devices are very expensive and require high manufacturing costs.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] Hereinafter, an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to the production of a mold for a foot last will be specifically described. First, as shown in FIG. 1a, a thin cover 2.3 is tightly attached to the surface of the mold pattern 1 to cover it. The model pattern 1 is, for example, an actual foot, and the cover 2.3 is, for example, a sock or the like that closely fits the foot shape. When applied to the foot, two types of covers are prepared, and the cover 2 covering the inside should preferably have the function of protecting the foot from the resin without causing the resin to come into contact with the foot. In addition, the cover 3 that covers the outside has a thickness that can cover the shrinkage of the resin when it is filled into the manufactured formwork, and it also has a thickness that can be used to harden the resin (for example, ultraviolet irradiation, light irradiation, heating, etc.). ) is suitable, having the function of protecting and tightening the skin.

Then, as shown in Figure 1b, wly the cover 2.3.
A curable resin 4' is applied or impregnated onto the surface of the mold pattern. Examples of the curable resin include ultraviolet curable resins, photocurable resins, thermosetting resins, etc. Among these, ultraviolet curable resins are particularly suitable because they can be cured in a short time at room temperature. For this ultraviolet curable resin, for example, an epoxy resin prepolymer is reacted with acrylic acid or methacrylic acid,
Examples include a water-soluble compound in which a vinyl double bond is introduced into the molecule, or a water-soluble compound in which a phosphoric acid group is further introduced by reacting an epoxy resin prepolymer with acrylic acid or methacrylic acid. Furthermore, other conventionally known ultraviolet curing resins can be used. A resin having such a composition is cured in a short time by ultraviolet irradiation in the air. Conventionally known resins can be used as the photocurable resin, thermosetting resin, and the like. Methods for coating with these resins include a method of applying by spraying, a method of immersing the mold pattern in a resin solution, and the like. When applying the spray method, the resin can be coated uniformly,
Further, it becomes possible to perform the first spraying step and the subsequent resin curing step continuously in the same equipment.

Next, the coated curable resin is cured by ultraviolet rays, light, or heat using conventionally known means.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the original mold 1 is taken out from the cured resin mold 4. The removal method is not particularly limited, but for example, a method of taking out the mold pattern together with the inner cover 2, or a method of attaching a cutting thread to the cover 2 or 3 and pulling it to cut the resin and removing the mold pattern 1. can be given.

The mold 5 thus obtained corresponds precisely to the shape of the original mold, and by filling it with resin, a foot mold can be manufactured. As this resin, one having a small processing shrinkage rate and a low melting point is preferable. For example, ethylene vinyl acetate resin has a small compression molding shrinkage rate of 0.007 to 0.0120 m/C1, and the amount of vinyl acetate is 33
%, the softening point is as low as 40°C, which is suitable. Further, by adding glass to this resin, the compression shrinkage rate can be lowered.

After the filled resin has hardened, it is molded into a foot last and cut into a predetermined shape to produce a foot last 6 as shown in FIG. 3, for example. Note that if the surface of the formwork has been treated to be smooth (for example, when a cured resin is applied by a spray method), there is no particular need to remove the formwork.

According to this embodiment, compared to conventional methods, it can be manufactured by so-called spot matching, and there are extremely few errors.
It is also possible to reproduce the fine details of the foot shape. This makes it possible to manufacture shoes that perfectly fit the customer's feet. Moreover, the method of making the mold is extremely simple, does not require any skilled technique, and can be handled as part of the customer service work at a shoe store. Furthermore, no expensive equipment is required, and manufacturing costs can be significantly reduced. In addition, this method is simple in its operation, and each step can be performed in succession, so the formwork can be manufactured in a short time. Furthermore, since the resin is applied and impregnated after covering the mold pattern with the cover, even if the mold pattern is a foot, it is possible to prevent the resin from coming into direct contact with the foot or being adversely affected by ultraviolet rays or the like.

In the above embodiments, a foot mold was described, but the present invention is not limited to this, and can be applied to any mold that can be made of resin.

[Effects of the Invention] The present invention provides a method in which a mold master is coated with a curable resin through a cover.
! Since this is cured, molds can be manufactured in a short time and at low cost, and the workability is also high. Furthermore, the obtained mold accurately corresponds to the original mold shape, and by filling the mold with resin, a highly accurate mold can be made.
