多心ケーブルのシースの端部から各絶縁心線と
シールド層とが露出され、前記各絶縁心線は多心
コネクタ本体の各コンタクト端子に接続され、前
記各絶縁心線の露出部分は前記多心コネクタ本体
と前記シースとに跨がつて嵌付けられた金属ケー
スで覆われ、前記金属ケースの外周はプラスチツ
クケースで覆われ、前記金属ケースと前記シール
ド層とが電気的に接続されている多心コネクタ付
ケーブルにおいて、前記多心ケーブルの端部の前
記シース内における前記各絶縁心線がなすケーブ
ルコアと前記シールド層との間に外面がテーパ面
となつていて大径側外周に鍔を有するテーパ付補
強筒体がその小径側先端を内向きにして挿入配置
され、前記金属ケースと前記プラスチツクケース
はモールド複合ケースとして一体化され、前記金
属ケースには前記テーパ付補強筒体の挿入部分で
前記多心ケーブルの外周部分が圧接され、前記シ
ールド層は前記テーパ付補強筒体の前記鍔と前記
金属ケースの内面とで挾持されて電気的に接続さ
れていることを特徴とする多心コネクタ付ケーブ
