下方に向かつて開口するストライカ進入溝を有す
るドアロツク本体を設け、該ドアロツク本体内に
おける前記ストライカ進入溝より扉の遊端部寄り
の部分に、前記ストライカ進入溝内に進入してき
たストライカと噛合して、前記扉を閉止状態で係
止するラツチ部材を、前記ヒンジの枢軸と同一方
向を向く軸をもつて枢着し、かつ前記ストライカ
を、両端部が車体に固着されたほぼ下向きコ字状
とするとともに、前記ラツチ部材と噛合するスト
ライカの係合部を、前記ヒンジの枢軸と同一方向
を向く軸状とし、さらに前記ドアロツク本体に固
着したカバープレートにより、前記ストライカ進
入溝に進入してきたストライカの上端部を覆うよ
うにしたことにある。
