(Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a deodorizing paint and a deodorizing paper using the same, and more specifically to a deodorizing paint and a deodorizing paper useful for painting various food containers or food packaging. (Prior art) Conventionally, various foods, especially foods with strong aromas or odors, have been packaged using non-porous containers such as metal or glass, or in simple cases, non-porous wrapping paper (for example, aluminum). foil) is mainly used. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The various containers or wrapping papers used in conventional food packaging as described above have problems such as loss of food aroma, mixing with external aromas or odors, or They prevent the aroma or odor of the contents from evaporating outside, but they are all more expensive than ordinary wrapping paper. or,
If the contents require breathability, such as fresh food, conventional containers and wrapping paper cannot be used.
It is powerless against food aromas or odors leaking outside, or from external aromas or odors transferring to the food inside. Therefore, as packaging materials for various foods, there is a strong demand for wrapping paper that is breathable to the outside but blocks only aromas or odors. As a result of intensive research in order to meet the above-mentioned demands, the present inventor found that such conventional demands can be achieved when a certain specific material is applied to general wrapping paper or packaging containers. The invention has been completed. (Means for Solving the Problems) That is, the present invention is a deodorizing paint made of citric acid, a binder resin, and an aqueous medium, and a deodorizing paper made by applying this to paper and then drying it. To explain the present invention in more detail, the citric acid used in the present invention and which mainly characterizes the present invention has been conventionally used as a food additive, and therefore is preferable from a safety point of view. be. The deodorizing paint of the present invention can be obtained by mixing citric acid as described above with a binder resin and an aqueous medium. Examples of the binder resin include acrylic resins, vinyl acetate resins, aqueous emulsions of other hydrophobic resins, and acrylic and vinyl acetate water-soluble resins.
Examples of the aqueous medium include water and a mixed solvent of water and a hydrophilic organic solvent such as alcohol. In the present invention, about 10 to 30% of the above citric acid is added to such a conventionally known binder resin and aqueous medium.
It can be obtained by dissolving or dispersing it to a concentration of % by weight. Further, the concentration of the binder resin in the aqueous medium may be about 10 to 30% by weight. It is also natural that coloring agents such as dyes and pigments and other additives may be added to the deodorizing paint of the present invention as described above. The deodorizing paper of the present invention can be obtained by applying the deodorizing paint of the present invention as described above to one or both sides of a general wrapping paper or a packaging container made of paper, and then drying it. There are no particular restrictions on the amount of deodorizing paint applied, but it is generally about 5 to 20 g/m 2 in solid content, and about 1 to 10 g/m 2 in terms of citric acid.
By setting it within such a range, an excellent deodorizing effect can be imparted without losing the air permeability of wrapping paper or paper packaging containers. Note that the deodorizing paint may be applied and dried by any conventionally known method. (Action/Effect) The deodorizing paper obtained using the deodorizing paint of the present invention as described above can block aromas or odors from external aromas or odors while retaining breathability. For example, even if several types of foods are packaged and stored in one place (for example, in a refrigerator), the aromas or odors of those foods will not mix. very useful for packaging purposes. Next, the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples. Note that parts and percentages in the text are based on weight. Example 1 15 parts of citric acid, 35 parts of water and 2M of crossrene
38 (45% aqueous solution) (manufactured by Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) to obtain a deodorizing paint of the present invention. Next, this deodorizing paint was applied to kraft paper at a concentration of 8 g/m 2 using an air knife coater and dried to obtain the deodorizing paper of the present invention. Next, this deodorizing paper was cut into a diameter of 11 cm and hung in a 300 ml Erlenmeyer flask, and was used as a source of bad odor at a concentration of 210 ppm.
The odor concentration was measured using 100 ml of ammonia water using a Kitagawa gas detection tube. The results were as follows.

[Table] Removal concentration Example 3 The deodorizing paint of Example 2 was sprayed onto the inner surface of cardboard paper at a rate of 10 g/m 2 , dried, and used for transporting fresh fish, etc. In terms of preventing the bad odor of ammonia and trimethylamine that are characteristic of fresh fish, the blank had a sensory evaluation of 5, whereas the present invention achieved an effect of 2 to 1. Example 4 The deodorizing paint of Example 1 was applied with a roll coater at a rate of 5 g/m 2 during the toilet paper manufacturing process, and dried to obtain the deodorizing toilet paper of the present invention. When the toilet paper was used in toilets, it was found to be extremely effective in removing ammonia odors from pumping toilets and flush toilets.
