Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid instability in operation due to clogging and enable favorable white color printing, by mixing a foaming agent into an ink for use in an ink jet printer. CONSTITUTION:A high molecular weight material used as a binder in an ink is dissolved by a solvent to prepare a transparent ink, and a liquid foaming agent conforming to the solvent is added to and mixed into the transparent ink. The foaming agent is of such a type that it foams on a post-treatment with heat, UV rays or the like after printing. The post-treatment after printing is conducted by applying UV rays, heat or the like corresponding to the foaming agent being used, whereby the ink is foamed, followed by drying. The foams 4 thus formed expand the binder in the transparent ink 2b, and the ink is changed from the transparent state into a white colored state owing to the irregular reflection by the foams 4, resulting in a white print.

First of all, the diameter of the ink jet nozzle in an inkjet printer is 60 to 200 μΦ, and there is a risk of clogging when pigment particles pass through, and the pigment tends to cause uneven jetting of ink droplets. Therefore, it has been difficult to perform stable printing with an inkjet printer using white ink.

Second, when the ink is in the stock tank, the pigment particles precipitate, causing non-uniformity of the ink components, and changes in viscosity due to the dispersion state of the pigment cause non-uniformity of the ink particles ejected from the nozzle. This resulted in poor print quality.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The gist of the present invention is to use Infusiera 1 to printer ink containing a foaming agent in the ink. That is, the first invention uses jet printing on a predetermined printing object using an ink that is compatible with the ink and contains a foaming agent that foams when exposed to ultraviolet rays or heat, and foams the polynuclear foaming agent. This is a printing method using an inkjet printer that is characterized by the following, and is particularly effective as a printing method for electric wires and cables.

Foaming agents that are compatible with the solvent used in the present invention and are caused by ultraviolet rays or heat include, for example, sodium bicarbonate or ammonium bicarbonate when water is used as the solvent, and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) when used as the solvent. For example, azo compounds (e.g. azodicarponiamide, azobisisobutyronitrile), nitrile compounds (e.g. dinitrosopentamethylenetetramine), sulfonyl hydrazide compounds, toluenesulfonyl hydrazide, when petroleum-based solvents are used. , for example, benzenesphonyl hydrazide, etc., respectively.

[Function] FIGS. 1 and 2 are diagrams explaining the present invention in detail. First, to obtain white printing, a polymeric material used as an ink binder is dissolved in a solvent to produce a transparent ink, and a liquid foaming agent compatible with the solvent is added and mixed. This foaming agent is selected from a type that foams when subjected to post-treatments such as heat and ultraviolet rays after printing.

The ink obtained in this state is a transparent liquid, and there are no particles such as the pigments mentioned above. Therefore, even if an inkjet printer is used for printing, it is possible to print in the same manner as with normal ink, such as black dye ink, and the above-mentioned problems do not occur at all. FIG. 2 is a sectional view immediately after printing with an inkjet printer and before foaming. Print surface (

As a result, as shown in Figure 1, the foamed bubbles (4) swell the transparent ink (after drying) (2b) binder, and the ink changes from transparent to white due to diffuse reflection from the foamed bubbles (4), resulting in white printing. It will be done.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, by mixing a foaming agent into the ink for an inkjet printer, it is possible to print in a good white color without unstable operation due to clogging, which was previously considered difficult. In addition, due to the diffused reflection of foamed bubbles, the hue of the printed surface changes to 93%.
9, it is possible to prevent not only white printing on black surfaces, which was previously difficult, but also yellow printing with dye-based hues,
It is now possible to print colors such as red clearly.
