の延長として使用したり該座部３Ａ，１３Ａの延
長部分の背もたれとして使用したりする場合には
第５図実線で示すように挿入杆７の係止片９をブ
ラケツト５の水平位置に配置される溝１０Ｂに嵌
着する。挿入杆７をバネ１４の弾性にさからつて
矢印反対方向に押すと係止片９は溝１０Ｂから離
脱して挿入杆７は回動可能になる。そこで挿入杆
７を外筒７Ａとともに点線位置にまで回動させる
と係止片９は溝１０Ａにバネ１４の弾性によつて
嵌着する。この状態ではアームレスト３Ｄ，１３

しくは係止片にバネの弾性によつて嵌合して固定
した状態で座席の座部側面に挿着すれば座部はア
ームレスト部分だけ延長され、そしてこの状態で
座席の背もたれ部側面に挿着すればアームレスト
は該座部延長部分の背もたれとなり、かくして座
席は極めて簡単に二人掛けに延長され、バンタイ
プの自動車等の座席として望ましい多様性を保有

根端部にはアームレスト側枠の直角位置および水
平位置に配置される溝もしくは係止片に嵌合すべ
き係止片もしくは溝が設けられ、かつ該挿入杆は
該挿入杆の係止片もしくは溝が該アームレスト側
枠の溝もしくは係止片に嵌合する方向にバネによ
つて付勢されていることを特徴とする座席におけ
