効果の低下をきたし液洩れの危険性が発生する等
の欠点がでてくるが、このような欠点を除去する
と共にスラリーが軸パツキンと軸との間に詰つて
スラリーによる液洩れ等の発生するのを防止し
て、シール効果の良いメカニカルシールを提供し
ようとするものである。

密接触し接触面13に摺動しながら密接して完全
にシールされるようになつている。本考案の特徴
とするところは、前記移動環8において、移動環
8と軸2との摺動接触面12に軸パツキン9,9
を収納する溝14,15を2カ所設け、これらの
溝のうち液側位置の溝15の巾を他方より大きく
して、潤滑剤16を多く封入可能とし、さらに移
動環8と軸2との摺動接触面12に軸パツキン9
の大きい方の溝15よりも液側位置(回転環側)
に周方向の溝17を形成し、この溝18から外部
に貫通する1つ以上の孔18を形成した点であ
