Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ３、発明の詳細な説明 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はフォトダイオードからなる受光素子と電荷転送
部からなる、いわゆる固体撮像素子、特に、色フィルタ
が受光部上に形成されたカラーイメージセンサに関する
ものである。
〔発明の概要〕
１一 本発明はカラーイメージセンサにおける各構成色の受光
部の面積を、イメージセンサの分光感度及びカラーフィ
ルタの透過率に応じて変えることにより、各構成色の感
度を色によらず一定とするようにしたものである。
〔従来の技術〕
以下説明のために、−次元カラーイメージセンサについ
て説明するが二次元カラーイメージセンサにおいても同
様である。又、色フィルタの構成Ｒ（赤）、Ｇ（緑）、
Ｂ（青）とするが補色系を使った色フィルタにおいても
同様である。
さて、従来のカラーイメージセンサの構成は第２図のよ
うな構成であり、（７）の赤用受光部、（８）の経用受
光部、（９）の青用受光部の受光面積はすべて同一寸法
であり、それぞれの受光部に対応して００）の赤フィル
タ、（１１）の緑フィルタ、（１２）の青フィルタが形
成されている。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
しかし、前述の従来技術では、イメージセンサ自体の分
光感度が、例えばＳｔを用いてイメージセンサを構成し
た場合、第３図のように、ＲＧＢの色の相対感度がちが
うため、また色フィルタの透過率もＲＧＢの色によりち
がうため、各色の感度が一定とならないという問題点を
有する。そこで本発明はこのような問題点を解決するも
ので、その目的とするところは、各構成色の感度が同一
のカラーイメージセンサを提供するところにある。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明のカラーイメージセンサは、各構成色の分光感度
、透過率に応じて受光面積を変えたことを特徴とする。
〔作用〕
本発明の上記の構成によれば、各構成色の受光面積が、
分光感度、透過率に応じて変えられており、（分光感度
）×（透過率）×（受光面積）が各構成色で同一となる
ようになっているため、各構成色の総合感度が同一とな
る。
〔実施例〕 第１図は本発明の実施例であり（１）は赤用受光部（２
）は経用受光部、（３）は青用受光部で、受光面積が変
えられている。＋４１　（５１（６１はそれぞれ赤フィ
ルタ、緑フィルタ、青フィルタであり、各構成色の受光
部上に形成されている。
〔発明の効果〕
以上述べたように、本発明によれば、分光感度透過率を
含めた総合感度が、各構成色とも同一になるという効果
を有する。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 少なくとも１つ以上の色フィルタが、受光部上に形成さ
    れており、少なくとも２つ以上の構成色の色信号が出力
    される固体撮像素子において、前記構成色のうち少なく
    とも１つ以上の構成色の受光面積が、他の構成色の受光
    面積とちがうことを特徴とする固定撮像素子。
