Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ３、発明の詳細な説明 産業上の利用分野 本発明は、ポケットコンビエータあるいは電卓等に好適
に用いられるキースイッチ装置に関する。
従来技術 第５図に従来のポケットコンピュータの一般的形態の斜
視図を示し、第６図および第７図にそのキースイッチ部
分の構造例の縦断面図を示す。
第６図に示される構造例においては、キー１と、キャビ
ネット２と、表示部３とで外部構造を構成する。キャビ
ネット２は、キー１を保持する介在部材４と、印刷等を
施した外装体であるアルミ表装パネル５と、アルミまた
１土プラスチツクで？Ｉη１及される背面パネル６とで
構成される。また内部枯遣は、印刷の手法で形成された
カーボン印刷接点７を有するゴムスプリング８と、カー
ボン印刷接点７に相対した位置に、櫛歯状の接点パター
ン９を有した印刷配線基板１０とで構成される。
キー１が押下げられると、キー１の第６図下面に当接し
たゴムスプリング８の下面のカーボン印刷接点７が押下
げられる。するとカーボン印刷接点７と接点パターン９
とは接触する。そしてキー１を押下げている力が除かれ
ると、ゴムスプリング８の復元力によりキー１は第６図
の状態に復帰し、同時にカーボン印刷接点７と接点パタ
ーン９とは離反する。このようにして、キー１を押下げ
ることにより、カーボン印刷接点７と接点パターンつと
で、スイッチ動作が行なわれる。
一方、第７図に示される従来例は、曲述の従来例におけ
るキー１とゴムスプリング８とが一体で成形されたゴム
キー１１を用いたことを特徴とし、それ以外の部分は前
述の構造例に準じているので、動作説明は省略し、対応
する部分には同一の参照符を付す。
発明が解決すべき問題点 このようなポケットコンピュータ等のキースイッチの構
造では、部品点数が多くなり、かなりの価格割合を占め
ろとともに、組込工程が複雑となる。
またキー１あるいはゴムキー１１とキャビネット２との
隙間から、塵や湿気等の侵入する恐れがある。
本発明の目的は、部品点数の削減と製造工程の簡略化を
実現でき、また堰や湿気等の侵入を防止することにより
、信頼性が高く、経年劣化の少ないキースイッチ装置を
提供することである。
問題点を解決するための手段 本発明は、キー部材と、 キー部材が組込まれるキャビネットとを含むキースイッ
チ装置であって、 弾性を有ｒる材料で形成され、スイッチング動作を実現
させるキー部材と、 キャビネットの少なくともキー部材を保持する部材とを
一体成形したことを特徴とするキースイッチ装置である
。
作　　用 本発明に従えば、キー部材と、キャビネットの少なくと
もキー部材を保持する部材とを一体成形することにより
、塵や７Ｑ％等の侵入を防止でき、また部品点数の削減
と製造工程の簡略化が可能となる。
実施例 第１図は本発明の一実施例の縦断面図であり、第２［２
Ｉはキー１２ａ付近の断面図であり、第３図は本実施例
の天面パネル１２の一部分の斜視図である。天面パネル
１２は、ｔ５Ｓ図〜第７図１こ示した従来技術の構造例
におけるキー１あるいはゴムキー１１と、アルミ表装パ
ネル５と、介在部材４の一部分とを一体成形したしので
あり、キー部材であるキー１２ａと、キー１２ａ近傍の
部分である保持部材１２ｂと、周縁部１２ｃとで構成さ
れる。
本実施例では、−大型で、たとえばＡ　Ｂ　Ｓ　Ｆ３４
脂でキー１２ａ近傍の弾性を必要とする部分の保持部材
１２ｂを成形し、続いて二次型で、たとえばウレタン？
ｊｆ脂で残余のキー１２ａおよび周縁部１２ｅの部分を
成形するいわゆる二色成形の方法をとっている。
この天面パネル１２と背面パネル１４と介在部材１５と
でキャビネット１６を構成し、このキャビネット１６と
表示部１７とで外部構造を形成する。そして内部ｂ！ｔ
’ａは、キー１２ａの底面に印配の技法で形成されるカ
ーボン印刷接点１８と、カーボン印刷接点１８と僅かな
間隙を隔てて相対した位置に、櫛歯状の接点パターン１
９が設けられた印刷配線基板２０とで構成される。この
印刷配線基板２０と表示部１７とは、介在部材１５と背
面パネル１４とで挟持される。
キー１２ａが押下げられると、キー１２ａの底面に形成
されたカーボン印刷接点１８は、前ヱ接点パターン１つ
と接触する。そしてキー１２ａを押下げている力が除か
れると、天面パネル１２の復元力により、キー１２ａは
第１図示の状態に復帰し、同時にカーボン印耶Ｉ接点１
８と接点パターン１９とは離反する。このようにして、
キー１２ａを押下げることにより、カーボン印刷接点１
８と接点パターン１つとで、スイッチ勤イヤが行なわれ
る。
本実施例では、キー１２ａの周囲に縦横に形成される凹
溝２１にて各キーの区別を施したが、天面パネル１２の
外表面を完全に平面として、印刷の手法により、各キー
機能を表示して各キーを区別することも可能である。ま
た表面の平滑度に差異を持ｒこせる　（たとえば文字部
分を艶出に、その周囲を艶消に、あるいはその逆にする
笠の手法）エツチング仕上による外観の差により、これ
を表示することら可能である。キー１２ａを第２図に示
されるように、印刷に支障のない範囲で近傍の面より突
出させることにより、キー１２ａの繰作性を向上させる
ことができる。
第４図は本発明の他の実施例の縦断面図である。
本実施例は、前述の実施例とは異なり、カーボン接点が
介在部材の構造上の都合で、印刷により形成することが
不可能な場合の例である。　（本実施例の場合では、キ
ー２２の底面２３が、介在部材２４の第４図下方へ向け
て形成された端部２５より奥まっているためである。）
キー２２の底面と僅かな間隙を隔てて相対する印刷配線
基板２６のｉ４図上面には、たとえばポリエステルフィ
ルムより成るキースペーサ２７を介して、たとえばぼり
エチレンテレフタレートより成るフィルム接点シート２
８が配置されるキースペーサ２７は、独立のフィルムで
はなく、フィルム接点シート２８に、紫外線遮ｌＦｒ０
１１］？を等を直接印刷することにより形成することも
できる。このフィルム接点シート２８の印刷配線基板２
６に臨む面には、印刷によりカーボン接点２つが形成さ
れる。
キー２２が押下げられると、キー２２の底面２３がフィ
ルム接点シート２８の上面を押圧し、フィルム接点シー
ト２８の下面に形成されたカーボン印刷接点２９が押下
げられ、キースペーサ２７によって隔てられた印刷配線
基板２６の第４図上面に櫛歯状に形成された接点パター
ン３０と接触する。そしてキー２２を押下げている力が
除かれると、キー２２は自己の弾性により復帰し、同時
にフィルム接点シート２８も復帰し、カーボン印刷後、
α２つは、接点パターン３０がら離反する。
このようにして、本実施例ではスイッチ動作が実現され
る。
以上、本発明の実施例をポケットコンピュータを例に挙
げ説明したが、野外での使用の可能性があり、防滴構造
が望まれるたとえばＴＶカメラ等や、水漏が予想される
たとえば洗）■磯等で、キースイッチ装置を有する全て
の機器に応用することができる。また印刷の手法を用い
てキーシンボルおよび必要な外装デザインを形成できる
ため、デザインの変更が容易になる。また介在部材を必
要に応じて天面パネルより露出させることにより、外装
天面を材質感の異なる２１！１１の材料で形成すること
が可能となり、かつその色調を変えることも可能である
ため、デザインを多彩に行なうことができる。
効　　果 以上のように本発明によれば、キー部材とキャビネット
の保持部材とを一体成型することにより、部品点数が削
減でき、かつ製造工程が簡略化される等の経済的利点が
生じる。
また、塵や湿気等の侵入が防止でき、密閉構造が比較的
容易に実現可能となり、このため当該キースイッチ装置
の組込まれた機器では、温順性を高め、経年劣化を少な
くすることができる。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 キー部材と、 キー部材が組込まれるキャビネットとを含むキースイッ
    チ装置であつて、 弾性を有する材料で形成され、スイッチング動作を実現
    させるキー部材と、 キャビネットの少なくともキー部材を保持する部材とを
    一体成形したことを特徴とするキースイッチ装置。
