Conventionally, various methods for duplicating information recording carriers have been known in the literature, for example, JP-A-53-116105, JP-A-55-152027, and JP-A-55-152028. In either case, the diameter of the mold 1 is larger than or approximately equal to that of the disk substrate 2, as shown in FIG. For this purpose, a photocurable resin 3 (hereinafter referred to as UV
(described as “resin”) will adhere to the product. Here, photocurable resin has the property of absorbing moisture, so when two disks are bonded together to form a sandwich structure, moisture enters from the cross section around the UV resin layer, promoting deterioration of the disk. . Therefore, it is necessary to prevent UV resin from adhering to the periphery of the disk. In addition, the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 53
-116105, there is an example in which the mold 1 is made smaller than the substrate 2 in order to prevent UV resin from adhering to the periphery of the disk. However, in this case, the UV resin remaining on the outer edge of the mold 1 remains as a "firmness", and when two disks are pasted together, the "firmness" will come into contact with each other.
A disk in which two disks are brought into close contact has the disadvantage of damaging the disk surface.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. In Figure 2, UV light is applied to a portion near the inner circumference of mold 1, which has unevenness according to the recorded information.
The resin 3 is applied in a circular shape, and the donut plate-shaped substrate 2 is gradually lowered on top of it near the inner periphery. The UV resin 3 used here is not particularly limited, and cures within about 1 minute by UV irradiation. Anything is fine. Further, the material of the substrate 2 must be a light-transmitting material such as glass or plastic, and glass was used here. At this time, while the outer circumference of the substrate 2 is lifted higher than the top surface of the mold by the ring 5, the inner circumference is pressed down by the ring-shaped holding jig 6, and the substrate 2 is bent. The inner circumference is
It will come into contact with UV resin 3. By doing so, it is possible to prevent "fine" from being mixed in at the time of contact. Then gradually lower ring 5,
The UV resin 3 is pushed out toward the outer periphery by the mold 1 and the substrate 2. Note that at this time, if the ring 5 is not lowered slowly, "foam" will be mixed into the resin 3. The ring 5 is lowered sufficiently so that the UV resin 3 spreads over the entire surface of the mold 1, and the substrate is brought into close contact with the mold with the UV resin sandwiched therebetween. The present invention is characterized in that a peelable film 2-1 is formed on the periphery of the substrate 2 before duplication. In this embodiment, the donut-shaped substrate 2
was formed on both the inner and outer peripheries of the
Of course, it may be formed only on one side. One preferable example of such a film is one obtained by applying a fluid organic substance and then solidifying, drying, or hardening it. Preferred organic materials include synthetic or natural resins such as acrylic, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, and epoxy, and commercially available paints containing synthetic or natural resins as main components. Moreover, an inorganic substance may be dispersed in the above-mentioned organic substance. Thereby, the strength of the peelable film 2-1 can be increased. The reason why the above-mentioned organic substances effectively act as a releasable film is because these organic substances strongly bond to the UV resin 3 and have good releasability from the substrate 2. Therefore, unnecessary UV resin around the periphery of the disk can be easily removed. Another preferred film is a combination of a tape made of an organic material, metal, etc., and a pressure-sensitive adhesive or an adhesive. In this case as well, since the organic material tape strongly bonds with the UV resin, removing the adhesive or adhesive part that adheres the organic material tape to the substrate 2 will remove unnecessary UV resin as in the case above. Can be removed. Using a substrate on which such a removable film has been formed in advance, the UV resin is sandwiched between the substrate and the mold using the method described above, the resin curing lamp is turned on, the UV resin is cured, and the replica is made. Create. FIG. 3 is a replica created in this manner, and shows the state immediately before the peelable film 2-1 is peeled off. After this, one end of the peelable film 2-1 is lifted and peeled together with the peripheral portion of the UV resin formed thereon. By doing this, excess UV resin that has protruded to the periphery can be removed.

As explained above, according to the present invention, it is possible to create a duplicate disk without unnecessary UV resin adhesion on the peripheral area, and when two disks are pasted together, reliable adhesion is possible and a long-lasting It has a remarkable effect on creating a lifetime duplicate disk.
