本考案は自動車用前照灯に係り、特に防水カバ

た、ハウジングｄの後部にはその内部に雨水等が
浸入しないようにする為に防水カバーｆを被覆さ
せている。該防水カバーｆは、主部ｇと、該主部
ｇの中央部に形成した筒状部ｈと、主部ｇの外周
に形成したスカート部ｉとからなり、前記筒状部
ｈをバルブａの口金a′に嵌合すると共に、前記ス
カート部ｉをハウジングｄの周縁部ｅに嵌合し
て、主部ｇが周縁部ｅ及びバルブ口金a′の間を塞
ぐことにより、ハウジングｄ内に雨水等が浸入す
るのを防止することができるようになつている。
そして防水カバーｆには、主部ｇの所定位置にハ
ウジングｄの内部と外部とを通気させる為の通気
孔ｊを形成し、かつスカート部ｉの下部に、万一
ハウジングｄ内に浸入した水を排水する為の水抜

ゴム製の成形品であつて、第３図乃至第５図に示
すように、環状の主部４１と、該主部４１の中央
部内側に突設した筒状部４２と、主部４１の外周
に形成したスカート部４３とからなり、前記筒状
部４２をバルブ３の口金３ａに嵌合すると共に、
前記スカート部４３をケース１の周縁部１ａに嵌
合して、前記主部４１が周縁部１ａ及びバルブ口
金３ａの間を塞いでいる。また防水カバー４の主
部４１には、その所定位置にケース１の内部と外
部とを通気する為に通気部４４を形成し、かつス
カート部４３の下部にはケース１内に浸入した水

口金３ａの対向端子３ｂ，３ｂ付近まで延長形成
され、筒状部４２をバルブ口金３ａに嵌合したと
き、その筒状部４２をバルブ口金３ａの外周方向
に対して位置決めすることができるようになつて
いる。また位置決め壁４６は、口金３ａの対向端
子３ｂ，水平端子３ｃにターミナル５を接続する
際、そのターミナル５の接続を妨げない程度の形

必然的に組付けることができなくなる。従つて、
口金３ａに対して筒状部４２の位置を規制するこ
とができるので、ケース１に対しても防水カバー
４を正確な位置に取付けることができ、これによ
り通気部４４及び水抜き部４５を所定位置に配置
することができるので、両者からケース１内に水
