前面にレンズを配設したハウジングにバルブを
有し、かつ、ハウジングの後部を被覆した防水カ
バーを備え、該防水カバーは筒状部をバルブ口金
に嵌合すると共に、スカート部をハウジングの周
縁部に嵌合して主部が前記周縁部及びバルブ口金
の間を塞ぎ、かつ、前記灯室に対して内部及び外
気を通気する為の通気路と、内部に浸入した水を
排水する水抜き部を有してなる自動車用前照灯に
おいて、前記水抜き部のスカート部の一部を外方
に延長してスカート止め部を形成し、一方前記ス
カート止め部に対応するハウジングにスカート固
定部を設け、該スカート固定部にスカート止め部
を固着して、ハウジングに対しカバーを位置決め
し、かつ、着脱自在に装着したことを特徴とする
