本発明は、被処理物の表面に形成されるバリやカエリ等
の除去を行うバリ取り研摩法およびバリ取り研摩用ブラ
ッシング装置に関するものである(従来の技術)
グイキャストによるアルミニウム系合金製部品のバリや
鋳鉄製部品等を、切削加工した際に生ずるカエリ等を除
去するには、被加工物の支持部にカップ形の回転ブラシ
を対向させた実開昭60−178563号公報に示すよ
うなバリ取り研摩機を使用し、回転ブラシの穂先を被加
工物に接触させながら回転させて被加工物のブラッシン
グを行つているが・従来のこの種バリ取り研摩機に使用
される回転ブラシは、研摩材を含有させたナイロン線条
等の構成線材の基端側をブラシホルダに固定したもので
、このような回転ブラシをブラシホルダの上部中央に設
けた回転駆動用連結部によりバリ取り研摩機の回転軸に

せて被加工物をブラッシングするバリ取り研摩法におい
て、回転ブラシを力7プ形ブラシとその外側に摺動自在
に囲装される筒状の外套体とよりなるものとして該外套
体の先端開口より突出したカップ形ブラシの穂先が所要
IF7耗するとこれを自動的に修正して常に穂先長さを
略一定に保ちながら被加工物をプランジングすることを
特徴とするバリ取り研摩法を第1の発明とし、この方法
を実施するための装置である、被加工物用の支持部に回
転ブラシを対向させたバリ取り研摩用ブラッシング装置
において、回転ブラシをカップ形ブラシとその外側に摺
動自在に囲装される筒状の外套体とよりなるものとして
該外套体にはこれをカップ形ブラシ共々回転させる回転
駆動用モータを連結するとともに該カップ形ブラシを外
套体に沿って進退動させる進退駆動用モータを設け、こ
の進退駆動用モータには前記カップ形ブラシの穂先の摩
耗量を検知する位置センサに接続されて該進退駆動用モ
ータに駆動指令を発する回転指示センサを接続したこと
を特徴とするバリ取り研摩用ブラッシング装置を第2の
