As a conventional flushing device, there is a mixing faucet 1 shown in FIG. 1 that is attached to a washbasin and used. Mixing faucet 1 is main body 2
More protruding water discharge pipe 3, valve 4 that opens and closes inside the main body
and a handle 5 for operating the valve.
In this type of mixer faucet 1, if negative pressure occurs in the water supply or hot water supply piping system due to an accident, etc., the height of the tip of the water discharge pipe 3 is adjusted to prevent the backflow of waste water stored in the washbasin. The spout 6 is provided so as to be higher than the installation height. In this case, although it depends on the diameter of the water spout 6, it is at least 2 or more diameter than the mounting surface height.
It must be positioned at least three times the height.
In this type of mixer faucet 1, the height of the main body 2 is not made very high, so the water discharge pipe 3 is formed to protrude upward from the main body 2, and the internal flow path 7 at the tip is connected to the water discharge pipe 3.
The tip opens downward to form a water spout 6.
For this reason, the hot water discharged through the valve 4 remains in the flow path 7 on the secondary side of the valve 4 after the valve 4 is closed. Since the remaining hot water comes into contact with the atmosphere through the opening, it may become contaminated and is considered sewage, but the remaining hot water will be discharged the next time it is used and should not be discharged from the faucet. The hot water used must not be contaminated, and the hot water remaining in the mixer faucet 1 must be removed.

The present invention was devised in view of the above circumstances, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a faucet having a structure that eliminates hot water remaining after the faucet is used on the secondary side of the valve within the faucet. That is, in a faucet in which a water spout is provided at a position higher than an on-off valve that controls water supply and water shutoff, a drain hole is provided on the lower side surface of the water spout on the secondary side of the on-off valve.
This faucet is characterized in that a drain valve is attached to the hole and is biased toward the water spouting portion in the valve opening direction.

Examples will be described according to the drawings. FIG. 2 shows a mixing faucet A according to the present invention (hereinafter, the same parts as in the conventional example are indicated by the same symbols), and is composed of a main body 2, a water discharge pipe 3, a valve 4, and a handle 5. The secondary side of the valve 4 constitutes a water spout 10 consisting of a mixing chamber 9, a flow path 7, and a spout 6. When operated by the handle 5, the valve 4 is separated from the valve seat 8, and the main body 2 of the faucet is separated from the valve seat 8. Hot water flows into the internal mixing chamber 9 and is discharged from the spout 6 through the flow path 7 inside the spout pipe 3. When the valve 4 is closed, hot water remains in the flow path 7 of the water discharge section 10 on the secondary side of the valve 4 and in the mixing chamber 9. In order to remove residual hot water, a drain hole 11 is bored in the lower side surface of the water spouting part 10 on the secondary side of the valve 4. A drain valve 12 is fixed to the hole 11. The drain valve 12 is comprised of a cylinder 13 and a valve body 15 attached to a through hole 17 provided in the cylinder 13 via a spring 14. A valve shaft 16 is integrally formed on the valve body 15,
The valve stem 16 penetrates the cylinder body 13 and protrudes to the outside.
The end portion is secured to the cylindrical portion 13 using a retaining ring such as a ring. The drain valve 12 may be fixed to the mixing faucet A by screwing, adhesive, etc., or may be formed integrally. The cylinder body 13 is provided with a through hole 17, but the hole diameter may be made slightly wider on the water spouting part 10 side, and the contact surface with the valve body 15 may be made wider. The valve body 15 is attached to the cylindrical body 13 via a spring 14. Normally, the spring 14 opens the through hole 17 in the direction of the water spouting part 10, and when the faucet is used, hot water is discharged from the secondary side of the valve part. Since the internal pressure increases, the valve body 15 overcomes the biasing force of the spring 14 and closes the valve body 13. After use, the internal pressure decreases, so the spring 14
As a result, the valve body 15 separates from the cylindrical body 13 again, and the hot water remaining in the flow path 7 flows out through the cylindrical body 13 without exception. It is most desirable that the cylindrical body 13 be provided facing the washbasin side to which it is attached, but it may be provided at an appropriate position where hot water remaining in the flow path 7 around the bottom of the secondary side of the valve 4 can be discharged. In this example, a mixed faucet has been described, but the present invention can also be applied to a faucet that only supplies hot water or water or other faucets that remain on the secondary side of the valve part.

As described above, according to the present invention, hot water does not remain on the secondary side of the valve part of the faucet, so when it is used again, hot water newly supplied from the water supply/hot water supply piping is discharged, so contaminated hot water is discharged. Never.
In addition, the drain valve that drains the remaining hot water closes only when the faucet is in use, and opens immediately after use, so the remaining water in the flow path can be automatically drained, and no special operations are required. An effective faucet can be provided.
