``Prior art'' ``Problems to be solved by the invention'' There have been various mechanisms for making the end of a writing instrument appear and retract. Generally, a cam surface is formed on the knob rod, which is a push member, and a rotary cam that rotates when engaged with this cam surface is engaged with a cam surface provided on the barrel or the inner wall of the sheath, and the end of the brush is alternately protruded and retracted. It is becoming popular to do this. Also,
There are some that do this not by the pressing operation of the knob rod, but by rotating the sheath or barrel and converting the rotational movement into a linear movement of the writing body. However, what these mechanisms have in common is that their structures are still complex, and above all, it is difficult to find anything as unique as this in the movement of the tip of the brush.

In addition, a weight member is used to guide the movement of a core rod (cursive) movably inserted into the barrel, as seen in the 1914 Special Publication, and the barrel is moved 180 degrees in the axial direction. There have also been some relatively unique designs in which the brush end of the core rod is made to protrude and retract from the barrel by rotating the core rod alternately. When it is exposed from the barrel, it is very doubtful whether the other end of the core rod, which moves due to the action of the weight member, can be securely locked in a predetermined position on the rear end of the barrel. Even if the barrel moves slightly in the vertical direction, there is a high risk that the end of the brush will not be able to resist the pressure of the writing and return to its original immersed state. When the barrel was rotated 180 degrees, the end of the brush was immediately recessed into the barrel, which caused considerable anxiety and inconvenience in operation.

"Means for Solving the Problem" In view of these conventional technologies, the present invention has a simple structure as described in the claims for utility model registration, and is easy to use in that the end of the brush is moved in and out by shaking the barrel. The intention is to provide a writing instrument that is also very unique.

The shaft cylinder 1 is always pressed rearward by the elastic force of the coil spring 9 hooked between the shaft cylinders 8 and 8.

FIG. 1 shows the state when the brush end 5b is not in the writing state, that is, when it is recessed into the barrel opening 1c, and is pushed toward the rear of the barrel by the elastic force of the coil spring 9. The cursive body 5 is formed by the slope 4a of the flange 4 of the support member and the end y of the cursive body end surface 5c.
engages only with the top x of the flange slope 4a, thereby transmitting the elastic force of the coil spring 9 to the writing support member 2. The elastic force of the coil spring 9 is determined by the balance with the sum of the gravitational forces of the writing body 5, the support member 2, and the sliding weight 6, but it must not be at least weaker than the total weight of these three members. It is preferable to be in a slightly strong state.

As described above, in the writing instrument of the present invention, when the brush end 5b is recessed into the barrel opening 1c, both the writing body 5 and its support member 2 are supported by the coil spring 9, as shown in the first figure. It is pressed against the rear of the shaft cylinder by the elastic force. In this state, the rear end 3a of the shaft 3 of the writing support member is recessed into the rear recess 11 in the barrel 1, and the sliding weight 6 is at the position of the inner step 7 of the barrel. This is as stated above. Now, in order to expose the brush end 5b from the barrel opening 1c and obtain a writing state, it is sufficient to swing the barrel 1 in its axial direction with the brush end 5b facing downward.

In this way, the sliding weight 6 pushes the writing body 5 toward the barrel opening 1c against the elastic force of the coil spring 9, and eventually, due to the inertial force of the writing body 5 and the support member 2, the state shown in FIG. 2 is reached. . In this state, the flange 4 of the support member has a surface 4a facing the end surface 5c of the cursive body as a slope, and both 4a, 5
Since c has only its top x and end y in contact, the gravitational force of the sliding weight 6 causes the collar 4 to move within the gap 10 between its slope 4a and the end face 5c of the writing body 5. It swings in the direction of the end surface 5c of the cursive using the contact point between the top x and the end y of the cursive end surface 5c as a fulcrum, and eventually the rear end 3a of the shaft 3 is engaged with the inner step 7 of the shaft cylinder. (as shown in the third diagram).

At this point, the writing state is obtained, and at this time, the sliding weight 6 is in a position where it comes into contact with the flange 4 of the writing body support member. The sliding weight 6 that comes into contact with the flange 4 receives the elastic force of the coil spring 9 when the shaft 3 of the support member swings and moves obliquely to engage the rear end 3a with the inner step 7 of the shaft cylinder. Due to the frictional resistance generated between the outer circumferential surface of the shaft 3 and the outer circumferential surface of the shaft 3, the brush end 5b becomes difficult to fall to the rear of the shaft.
Even if the barrel 1 is placed in an upright position with the cursive 5 facing upward,
This means that the brush end 5b can be kept exposed from the barrel opening 1c.

Next, to cancel the writing state and insert the brush end 5b into the barrel opening 1c, move the barrel in the opposite direction from when the previous writing state was obtained, that is, with the brush end 5b facing upward. Just swing it in the direction of your heart. The sliding weight 6 is forced to move toward the rear of the barrel from the state shown in FIG. 3, returning the support member 2 to its original state (as shown in FIG. 4). When the sliding weight 6 moves to the inner step 7 of the barrel cylinder, the support member 2 and the writing body 5 move backward by the elastic force of the coil spring 9 and return to their original state, and the writing state is released. (See Figure 1).

"Effect of the invention" As described above, the present invention forms the end face of the flange of the shank fitted with the sliding weight into an inclined surface, and the flange of the shank is pressed from the direction of the end of the pen toward the rear of the shank barrel. This is made by pressing the cursive writing body so that the edge of the end surface contacts only the top of the slope of the flange, so when the writing condition is obtained, the sliding weight must be moved to the position where it contacts the flange. To do this, it is best to shake the barrel so that the sliding weight moves toward the opening of the barrel against the elastic force of the coil spring. The flange of the support member swings around the point of contact between the top of its slope and the end of the end face of the writing body, and eventually realizes the diagonal transition of the shank, and the rear end of the shank is brought into contact with the shank cylinder. A writing state is obtained by engaging with the inner step. Once the writing state is achieved, the sliding weight that engages with the inner stage of the barrel and comes into contact with the tilted shaft due to the elastic force of the coil spring easily moves to the rear of the barrel. Therefore, even if you accidentally turn the brush end upward, the brush end will not sink into the barrel.

Therefore, the present invention not only contributes to simplifying the mechanism for ejecting and retracting the end of the writing instrument's pen, but is also practical and easy to use.
This made it possible to provide writing instruments that were also full of originality.
