Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) この発明は樹脂含浸性の基板に樹脂部品を溶着する方法
に関するしのである。
(従来の技術) 一般に、自動車の内張り用の芯材とされるII維質圧縮
成形板(木質繊維系ボード)の取付けは金属製のりテー
プブラケット(以十、単にリテーナと略記する。)を介
1ノで行なわれる。このリテーナは、第15図に示すよ
うに、リテーナ31の取付は片31B、31Bにおいて
リベット33.33止めしてIMIffl買圧縮成形仮
圧縮成形板34に固着される。なお、第15図において
32はボルトなどへの挿通孔である。
一方、リテーナブラケットは金属製に代え°C1合成樹
脂製のものとし、繊維質圧縮成形板に溶着して固定する
方法が望まれているが、溶着強度が小さいため実用化さ
れていない。
(発明が解決しようとする問題点) この発明は上述した従来の要望に応え1!Iるらのeあ
り、U&随貿圧縮成形板などの樹脂含浸性の基板に樹脂
部品を溶着する際に、溶着強度を向上さけ(琴で、かつ
実施し易い、樹脂含浸性の基板に樹脂部品を溶着する方
法を提供することにある。
(問題点を解決するための手段) 前記問題点を解決するためにこの発明の1段は、溶着片
を右する樹脂部品を、樹脂含浸性の基板の所定の取付は
部位に配置し、加熱押圧手段にて溶着片を溶融させ樹脂
部品を基板に溶着するに際し、前記樹脂部品の溶着片に
は取付は面側に突起部を設けたものとなし、前記基板の
取付は部位には溶着片の突起部に対応し、かつ該突起部
を挿入し得る接合用の凹部を設けたものとなし、基板凹
部に樹脂部品の文部を挿入可能に樹脂部品を配置した後
に、樹脂部品を基板に溶着するようにしたものである。
(作 用) 基板の接合用の凹部には樹脂部品の溶着片の突起部が挿
入される。加熱押圧手段にて溶着片が加熱される。溶着
片の−・部は溶融し、基板に密着する。とくに溶着片の
溶融した突起部は基板の凹部内に食い込み樹脂部品の接
合強度を増す。
(実施例) 以下に本発明の一実施例を、第1図〜第14図について
説明する。
第1図および第2図において、樹脂部品であるリテーナ
1は中央部1△の両側に溶着片1B、1Bを設けた几形
状に形成されている。各溶着片1Bの基板の取付は面に
は先端が尖った断面三角形の突起部3.3が適数個、本
例では溶着片1Bの巾方向に各2木形成されている。リ
テーナ1の中央部1Aにはボルトなどに止めるための止
着孔2が設けられている。リテーナ1はABS樹脂、ポ
リプロピレン4!どの熱可塑性樹脂にて一体成形されて
いる。
一方、樹脂含浸性の基板として本例ぐは!1雑質を樹脂
にて成形した自動車ドアトリム用の繊維質圧縮成形板4
が用意され、所定部位には前記したリテーナ1溶着片1
B、IBの突起部3.3に対応する接合用の凹部5,5
が形成される。本例の凹部5.5はりデーナ1突起部3
,3に対応する断面三角形の溝状とされる。
しかして基台6十に繊維質圧縮成形板4を置き、繊維質
圧縮成形板4の凹部5,5にリテーナ1溶着片1B、I
Bの突起部3.3を位置決め配置した復、配置したリテ
ーナ1の両溶着片IB、IB上に超音波ウェルドホーン
7を、1: IiL、、超音波を印加するとともにホー
ンを適度に押圧ザる。溶着片1B、1Bの突起部3,3
はlB維質圧縮成形板4の凹部5,5に挿入されるとと
もに溶融され、凹部5,5内にJ3いで基材間に含浸さ
れ汰は止め部3△、3Δとなる。また、溶着片IB、I
E3の取付は面側は繊維質圧縮成形板4面に溶着されて
密着される。しかる模、超音波ウェルドホーン7を除去
する。かくして本例のリテーナ1はuA維質圧縮成形板
4に溶着接合される。
繊維質圧縮成形板4に溶着された本例リテーナ1の溶着
強度を、第8図に示す引張り試験により測定した。すな
わち、リテーナ1周囲の繊維質圧縮成形板4部分を金属
板8,8(上側金属板の開口部は8 X 8 atr 
)にて挟み付()て保持した後に、リテーナ1部分を第
8図矢印方向に引張り(引張り速度は2001+lII
/分とした。)、破壊するときの強度を測定した。なお
、この引張り試験の対照量としては、第9図に示すよう
に接合用の凹部を設けないtIA雑質圧縮成形板14に
リテーナ11を溶着(第9図参照)したもの(溶着片の
接合状態は第10図参照)を用いた。
引張り試験の結果、垂直方向引張り破壊強度において、
繊維質圧縮成形板4に凹部5を設けた本例のものは71
.3Ky (N = 5 )であった。!lN質圧縮成
形板14に凹部を設けない対照量は、第10図に示すよ
うに溶着片11B、11Bの突起部13〜13の繊維質
圧縮成形板14に対する抜は止め部13△、13Aの成
形が不充分となり、垂直方向の引張り破壊強度はse、
IKg(N=10>であり、本例のものの溶着性が大き
くで実用性のあることが認められた。
前記した実施例におけるリテープ1の突起部3は、断面
三角形のものとなし、繊維質圧縮成形板4の凹部5は対
応する断面三角形状の溝状となしたが、突起部3および
凹部5はこれに限定するものではなく、たとえば第11
図に示ずリテーナ21溶着片21B、21Bのように断
面四角形の突起部23.23となし、繊維質圧縮成形板
24の凹部25.25は、第12図および第13図に示
1ように断面四角形の突起部23に対応する断面四角形
状の凹部25.25とするなど、突起部と凹部は適宜な
対応形状となすことができる。
なお、第11図に示すリテーナ21を繊維質圧縮成形板
24の凹部25に溶着した場合は、第14図に示づよう
にリテーナ21溶着片21Bの抜は止め部23Aが形成
されリゾ−ノー21の接合性が高められる。
(発明の効果) 本発明は、樹脂含浸性の基板に樹脂部品を溶着するに際
1ノ、樹脂部品の突起部を基板の接合用の凹部に配置し
て溶着せしめるようにするため、樹脂部品の溶着性が高
められる。すなわら、本発明によれば樹脂部品は溶着片
において基板面と接合させることに加え、基板の凹部に
おける溶着片の突起部の溶着による接合もされることに
より。樹脂部品の溶着接合強度が高められるものである
そして、本発明における突起部を設cノだ樹脂部品は樹
脂部品形成の際に成形容易であり、かつ基板に凹部を形
成することは簡単になし得るので実施し易いものである

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)溶着片を有する樹脂部品を、樹脂含浸性の基板の
    所定の取付け部位に配置し、加熱押圧手段にて溶着片を
    溶融させ樹脂部品を基板に溶着するに際し、前記樹脂部
    品の溶着片には取付け面側に突起部を設けたものとなし
    、前記基板の取付け部位には溶着片の突起部に対応し、
    かつ該突起部を挿入し得る接合用の凹部を設けたものと
    なし、基板凹部に突起部を挿入可能に樹脂部品を配置し
    た後に、樹脂部品を基板に溶着することを特徴とする樹
    脂含浸性基板に樹脂部品を溶着する方法。
  2. (2)樹脂含浸性の基板が繊維質圧縮形成板である特許
    請求の範囲第1項記載の樹脂含浸性の基板に樹脂部品を
    溶着する方法。
  3. (3)加圧押圧手段が超音波ウェルドホーンにて行なわ
    れるものである特許請求の範囲第1項記載の樹脂含浸性
    の基板に樹脂部品を溶着する方法。
  4. (4)突起部が断面三角形をなし、凹部が断面三角形の
    孔部、もしくは断面矩形の孔部をなすものである特許請
    求の範囲第1項記載の樹脂含浸性の基板に樹脂部品を溶
    着する方法。
  5. (5)突起部が断面矩形をなし、凹部が断面矩形の孔部
    、もしくは断面三角形の孔部をなすものである特許請求
    の範囲第1項記載の樹脂含浸性の基板に樹脂部品を溶着
    する方法。
