Abstract

PURPOSE:To finish seamed parts of metallic corrugated roof sheet in good form by inserting an elastic member into a seamed part for form connection made by folding upper and lower edges of an oblong flat metallic plate to the face and the back respectively, and after pressing the folded flat plate to corrugated form, removing the elastic member. CONSTITUTION:An elastic member 5 such as a beltlike rubber member, beltlike felt etc. is inserted into the seamed part 6 for form connection made by folding 4 the upper and lower edges of an oblong flat metallic plate to the face and back side respectively. This folded flat metallic plate 3 is inserted into a corrugation forming presses 1, 2 and formed to a specified corrugated form. The seamed part of the corrugated metallic roof sheet can be finished in good form by removing the elastic member 5 thereafter.

Detailed Description of the Invention (Technical Field) The present invention relates to a method of forming a corrugated metal roofing sheet in which several roof tiles are arranged in a row in the horizontal direction. This relates to a method of forming a corrugated metal roofing board by folding the front and back sides of the board into a substantially U-shape to form a seam.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, there is a method of forming a corrugated metal roof sheet, such as that disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 49-43186, but this method presses a band-shaped metal sheet of a required width from above and below through a press mold. At the same time, both upper and lower edges of the corrugated metal plate are bent diagonally in opposite directions, and when constructing a roof, the diagonally bent portions of each metal plate are joined together to form a core. Each metal plate was connected by nailing.

However, the upper and lower edges of the metal plate are folded back to the front and back sides of the metal plate in a substantially U-shape to form a seam part, and the seam parts are mutually locked to connect each metal plate. In the case of a plate, if the metal plate is simply pressed from above and below with a press die to form a wave shape, as in the conventional method described above, the seams will be crushed and the dimensions of the bending gap, that is, the U-shaped gap, will be distorted. In particular, when the gap size is small, it has become impossible to construct a lighted roof because the seams cannot be locked at all.゛(Objective) The present invention is directed to U formed at both upper and lower ends of a strip-shaped metal plate.
To provide a complete method for forming a corrugated metal roof plate, which can form a metal plate into a corrugated shape without disturbing the gap size of the folded seam part.

(Function) When forming the metal plate 3, first, each seam part 4 of the metal plate 3 is
, 4', the elastic member 5 is inserted into the gaps 6, 6', and the metal plate 3 to be hidden is placed between the molding molds 1.2 as shown in Figures 1 and 2, and as shown in Figures 3 and 4. The corrugated roof plate A has a shape in which several roof tiles are connected in the horizontal direction by being pressed down from above and below as shown in the sixth figure. In this case, each of the above-mentioned gob portions 4.
Since the Ki elastic member 5 is inserted into the gap 6.6' of the seam portion 4, 4', the gap 6.6' of the seam 4, 4' is not crushed more than necessary by the pressing force of the molding die 1.2. The waveform shaping is performed smoothly without any interference. Further, after molding, the elastic member 5 can be easily taken out from within the gap portions 6, 6' of the joint portions 4, 4' by utilizing its elasticity.

(Effects) According to the present invention, a metal roofing board is provided in which a U-shaped connecting joint is formed by folding the top and bottom edges of a horizontally long flat metal plate, each of which is made of a metal plate, on the front and back sides of the metal plate. When forming a waveform in which several roof tiles are connected in the horizontal direction, an elastic member is inserted into the gap between the seams, and in this state, the metal plate is formed into a waveform using a press mold. Therefore, the molding can be carried out smoothly without crushing the gap part of the seam part beyond a predetermined size, and after molding, the elastic member can be used to compress the inside of the gap part of the seam part by using its elastic force. It has the advantage that it can be easily taken out and used repeatedly.
