DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION This invention is a fireproof panel, that is, a plate-shaped or band-shaped product in which a fireproofing material is wrapped around a metal plate, and a connecting flange is provided on the side edge.
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a factory product that can be connected one after another by engaging flanges to form a wall surface of an arbitrary area.

Initially, this type of panel was made by attaching metal plates to the fireproofing material using an inefficient stamping process, but as demand increased, several years ago the process changed to roll forming.

Roll-forming is natural since the band-shaped fireproofing material is wrapped around a band-shaped metal plate, but the processing method is, for example, a press processing procedure that requires multi-stage processing, as shown in Japanese Patent Publication No. 48-29364. has been inherited as is. In other words, undesirable processing such as attaching protrusions of a metal plate to both edges of a fireproofing material and squeezing the upper edge to forcefully hold it in, or stretching the base of the protrusions once folded at a right angle and then flattening them again can occur. It is a key part of the manufacturing procedure. This invention breaks away from the conventional press working procedure in the roll forming of fireproofing material panels, etc., does not deform the fireproofing material, bends sharply, has accurate dimensions, and can be stretched once the bent part is straightened. We have developed a new processing method that does not have any problems with the materials and dimensions.

The drawings will be described below, but the roll forming apparatus is not shown because it is simply attached to a conventional roll forming apparatus with a roll of a necessary shape. In addition, as shown in Figure 2, a large number of rolls are arranged in order to sequentially roll-form the strips. These rolls correspond to changes in the shape of the strips, and since the design of the roll shape belongs to well-known technology, typical rolls are used. Only examples are given. FIG. 1 is a schematic explanatory diagram of the present invention.

A flat metal strip 1 is run through a roll forming device with forming rolls lined up, and scalene chevrons 2, 2 are folded up on both edges of the strip 1, the inside being short and the outside long, and then the chevrons 2 on both sides are folded up.
, 2 inward and make the two sides of the chevron almost vertical, then fold up the left and right edges 6, 6 diagonally, leaving the flat part 3 at the center of the strip 1 by the width of the fireproofing material 4, and then The fireproofing material 4 is fed flatly onto the flat part left in the center of the strip 1 that has come out from the presser roll 5, and then the left and right edges 6, which were folded up diagonally above, are stood up almost vertically. Steps A and B to incorporate fire protection material 4 depending on the situation.
, C, D, and E. The long outer side of the scalene chevron 2 will eventually become the connecting flange T of this panel and protrude left and right. In practice, the connecting flange T needs to have a cross-sectional shape suitable for engaging with an adjacent one when inserted, and this is left to the well-known skill of the designer. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a cross-sectional change on a roll forming device of an example of a fire protection panel actually produced as a prototype.

Part a shows the cross section where the first stage of the part that will eventually become the connecting flange is formed on both edges of the strip plate 1, and the upper and lower rolls used for this are shown as 8 and 9 in Fig. 3. . roll 8
, 9 are split rolls, and the spacers may be changed depending on the width of the flat part. FIG. 2, part b, shows the state in which the connecting flanges 1a and 7b have been formed using the next upper and lower rolls. Starting from point c in FIG. 2, forming the scalene shape 2 shown in FIG. 1B begins.

Without touching the flange parts 7a and rb, make a low chevron 2 of 15 inches with c, 300 inches with d, 45 inches with e, and f.
So, it is 6001g and 75 is 903, that is, the two sides of chevron 2 are set vertically. FIG. 4 shows the upper and lower rolls 10, 11 of f. From FIG. 2 1, a process begins in which the left and right edges are folded up obliquely, leaving the flat part at the center of the strip equal to the width of the fireproofing material 4, without touching the already processed part. In other words, for that i, the angle 15J is about 30,
K is folded up to 45, and L is folded up to 600. FIG. 5 illustrates the upper and lower rolls 12, 13 of k. When the left and right edges reach a position where it becomes difficult to insert the fireproofing material 4 if the left and right edges are folded up any further, the fireproofing material 4 is fed flat into the central flat part. If you fold it up to that point, there will be enough creases and the upper roll will not be needed after that.
It is put in. If the fireproofing material is made of a rigid material, the distance between the final upper (presser) roll 5 and the lower roll 14 that folds the left and right edges further upward should be made larger than the length of the fireproofing material 4, as shown in FIG. Bye. If the fireproofing material 4 is combustible, it can be fed in a curved manner, so the interval may be small. FIG. 6 shows a state in which the fireproofing material 4 is folded up by the lower roll 14 or the lower roll 15 and the side rolls 16 until the left and right edges are almost vertical. The fireproofing material 4 is held in the strip while maintaining its original rectangular cross section, and the bent portion is sharply bent by upper and lower rolls to achieve accurate dimensions. Of course, unlike conventional methods, there is no step of straightening the bent portion. In the conventional method, in order to ensure close contact between the strip and the fireproofing material, a protrusion with an inverted U-shaped cross section in the longitudinal direction of the strip is pressed diagonally from above against the side edge of the fireproofing material, and the left and right upper edges of the fireproofing material are crushed and hugged. ing.

Even if the fireproof material is crushed, it has no restoring force because it is an inelastic material, and the bent part of the metal strip will spring back and separate from the crushed fireproofing material, so this crushing process will separate the fireproof material and the strip. Close contact cannot be obtained. In the case of this invention, by appropriately selecting the dimensional tolerance between the width of the central flat surface 3 of the strip plate 1, the dimensions of the diagonally folded left and right edges 6, and the width and thickness of the fireproofing material 4, sufficient adhesion between the two can be achieved. , a conjugation effect can be obtained. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to save on the fireproofing material and the adhesive used between the strips, and the fireproofing material can be made of soft or fluid materials, which will be developed in the future, instead of using hard materials such as plasterboard. It is also possible to apply it to insulation panels using foam insulation materials.

In this invention, unlike the conventional method, it is not possible to wrap a plurality of fireproof materials in parallel on one strip. However, only the two edges of the strip will become the connecting flanges and the fireproofing material holding part, so these are completely formed with upper and lower rolls, and after folding them up diagonally with sufficient analysis, the fireproofing material is inserted and held, as described above. As such, it is natural to carry out a design according to the design conditions without changing the gist. For example, changing a part of the forming roll to a template or other material, folding down the folded part to send the fireproofing material to the underside of the strip, or folding down the part called folding up to wrap the fireproofing material under the strip, or the cross-sectional shape of the fireproofing material not being rectangular. In this case, changes and applications can be easily made using known techniques, such as changing the above-mentioned "tenon perpendicular" to an appropriate angle, or providing decorative unevenness on the so-called flat part.
